摘要: A casing of an ECU is formed within an air cleaner of an intake module for an internal combustion engine. The casing faces an intake air passage, and formed in a pocket, so that the casing is easily formed and the water and dust proof performances thereof are improved. A printed-circuit board to which a metal plate is fixed is inserted into the casing along slits formed on an inner wall of the casing. The slits pinch the printed-circuit board and the metal plate at the rear end area thereof. Thus, anti-stress and anti-vibration performances of the printed-circuit board are improved. The metal plate including convexes and concaved contacting portions is easily formed by pressing an aluminum or steel plate. Thus, the metal plate is formed with low cost. Further, the metal plate appropriately includes holes, thereby promoting the heat radiation and reducing the weight thereof.

摘要: An image formation apparatus has a waste toner accommodation unit including a toner transporting rotation member covered with a fixed pipe. As the member rotates, waste toner in the pipe is transported downstream A fin involved in detecting an amount of toner moves upward and downward with a predetermined amplitude as the member rotates. The pipe has a projection secured by an elastic member to a bottom of the waste toner accommodation unit, and when waste toner reaches the level of the pipe, the waste toner is compressed in the pipe downstream and thus increases in density, and together with the waste toner the pipe starts to rotate. As a result, the projection rotates to a position allowing it to interfere with the fin, and the fin decreases in amplitude. Such variation in amplitude is detected by a sensor and a state full of toner is thus detected.

摘要: An image formation apparatus has a waste toner accommodation unit including a toner transporting rotation member covered with a fixed pipe. As the member rotates, waste toner in the pipe is transported downstream. The toner transporting rotation member has an upstream portion with a recessed portion having a small diameter. As the toner transporting rotation member rotates, a detection plate located external to the waste toner accommodation unit repetitively moves and thus repetitively passes across a photo sensor. When the waste toner has reached the level of the pipe the waste toner is compressed in the pipe downstream and thus increases in density. This increases a load torque of the toner transporting rotation member and hence ruptures the recessed portion, and thus stops rotation. The photo sensor detects that the detection plate no longer passes across it, and thus detects a state full of toner.

摘要: An electrostatic ink jet head has a head substrate, an insulating substrate having at least one through hole, an ink guide, ink supply means, a control electrode, and meniscus control means. An ink passage is formed between the head substrate and the insulating substrate. The meniscus control means controls fixing of an edge portion of an ink meniscus formed in proximity to the through hole or within the through hole. With the meniscus control means, it becomes possible to maintain the position and shape of the ink meniscus with stability, thereby allowing ejection and flying of liquid droplets, such as ink droplets, with stability and formation of an image of high quality on a liquid droplets reception member such as a recording medium.

摘要: The inkjet printer head includes heating elements and ejection nozzles. Each of the heating elements has a heating resistor which is energized by application of an electric current so that a part of ink which is located in proximity to the heating resistor is boiled to form a bubble. The expansion of the formed bubble causes the ink to be ejected as a droplet through each of the ejection nozzles. Each of said heating elements has no protective film disposed between the heating resistor and the ink in which the bubble is to be formed. A thickness of said heating resistor is in a range of from 2 μm to 5 μm.

The plate contains fine particles that have a water-repellent function in at least a region near to a surface of the plate, the fine particles being dispersed therein. The plate is arranged by etching using at least two kinds of etching conditions which differ in magnitude relation between an etching rate of the fine particles in the region and an etching rate of portion of the plate excluding the fine particles in the region, to form the ink ejection nozzle and a surface of the plate in the vicinity of an ink ejection opening of the ink ejection nozzle. The fine particles, for example mainly comprises silicone. The surface of the plate formed by etching is a fine irregular surface where the fine particles are exposed, and an inner surface of the ink ejection nozzle formed by etching is a flat surface with no fine irregular portion.

摘要: There is disclosed an image forming method for mixing a plurality of recording liquids to produce a mixed liquid with a desired density and/or color and transporting the mixed liquid to an image receiving medium to form an image. The actual value of the mixture proportion of the mixed liquid is constantly monitored in the vicinity of the confluent point of the recording liquids (in the vicinity of the downstream side of the confluent point or on the upstream side), and is compared with the target value of the mixture proportion obtained based on the image signal. The supply amount of each recording liquid is subjected to feedback control in such a manner that the detected actual value agrees with the target value. The mixture proportion is prevented from fluctuating by influences of a recording liquid temperature, an atmospheric pressure, and the like and an image quality is enhanced.

摘要: An image forming method and apparatus for forming an image on an image receiving medium with plural coating liquids. A plurality of types of coating liquid are combined to form a recording liquid and extruded as a continuous flow from an array of plural extruding ports which are aligned in a direction substantially orthogonal to a relative movement direction of the image receiving medium. While a mixing ratio of the plural coating liquids is varied based on an image signal, the recording liquid is continuously applied on the image receiving medium to form the image thereon. The high-speed image formation is enabled with a reduced amount of ink to be wasted. Preferably, the plurality of types of the coating liquid are not equally mixed but can be superimposed in the form of a layer in the coating thickness direction to be continuously applied.

摘要: A color image is recorded on a color photosensitive material by using a spatial light modulator, which comprises a photoconductive layer and an electro-optic material layer located with an insulating multi-layer film mirror intervening therebetween. An optical pattern is inputted from the side of the photoconductive layer and written into the spatial light modulator. Reading light is irradiated from the side of the electro-optic material layer and reflected from the multi-layer film mirror, and the written optical pattern is thereby read from the spatial light modulator. The multi-layer film mirror has spectral reflectance characteristics such that the reflectance with respect to the reading light having wavelengths falling within a wavelength range, for which the sensitivity of the color photosensitive material is high, may be lower than the reflectance with respect to the reading light having wavelengths falling within a wavelength range, for which the sensitivity of the color photosensitive material is low.
