摘要: An image display device includes pixel circuits, a power supply line, and a data line for supplying a data signal to the pixel circuits. The pixel circuits each include a light emitting element, a drive transistor for controlling light emission of the light emitting element, a storage capacitor provided between the data line and a gate electrode of the drive transistor, a both-end connection switch for connecting both ends of the storage capacitor to each other, and a current interruption switch for interrupting a path of a current flowing from the power supply line through the both-end connection switch. Before the data signal is supplied to each of the pixel circuits, the both-end connection switch connects the both ends of the storage capacitor to each other, and the current interruption switch is disconnected.

摘要: The present invention realizes a high-quality display by optimizing a light emitting efficiency among pixels which differ in light emitting characteristic from each other by enabling to apply voltages corresponding to pixels which differ in color from each other while suppressing brightness irregularities attributed to a voltage drop of a power source line. Only power source lines Lv of sub pixels B and a bypass line Lb are connected with each other in a first row (X1), only power source lines Lv of sub pixels R and a bypass line Lb are connected with each other in a second row (X2), and only power source lines Lv of sub pixels G and a bypass line Lb are connected with each other in a third row (X3). 摘要: An image display device includes signal lines; a video signal generating means which generates a video signal based on gray level information from the outside; a compensation signal generating means which generates a compensation signal based on the gray level information; a selecting means which alternately supplies the video signal and the compensation signal to the signal lines; and a plurality of pixel circuits which are connected to the signal lines. The compensation signal generating means generates the compensation signal based on the gray level information such that the larger the time integration of the potential of the video signal is, the smaller the time integration of the potential of the compensation signal is.

A plurality of pixels which are arranged in a matrix array is connected to power source lines, and the plurality of power source lines are connected to a power source bus line. Both ends of the power source bus line are connected to a power source part via a FPC. By supplying electricity to both ends of the power source bus line from the power source part, the line resistance of the power source bus line can be reduced.

摘要: The present invention provides an organic EL display device which imparts the flexibility to the pull-around operation of lines. The organic EL display device is characterized in that the display device includes a display part and a display drive circuit which is formed on a periphery of the display part on a surface of a substrate, wherein the display part includes a plurality of pixels driven by the display drive circuit, each one of the pixels is formed of a stacked body which is constituted of at least one electrode, a light emitting layer and another electrode stacked from the substrate side, another electrodes of respective pixels are electrically connected in common, and a conductive layer which is formed on the same layer and is made of the same material as another electrodes is formed on a region other than the display region in a state that the conductive layer is electrically separated from another electrodes.

摘要: An inexpensive organic electroluminescent display device is realized by using a data driver IC for liquid crystal that is used in a liquid crystal display device, as a driver of the organic electroluminescent display device. In an active-matrix organic electroluminescent display device that has a pixel circuit capable of controlling light emitting luminance per time in accordance with magnitude of a grey scale voltage, a control signal is supplied from a timing control IC to the data driver so that the polarity is reversed twice consecutively, or a control signal is supplied from the timing control IC to the data driver so that a mode of not reversing the polarity is selected. This control signal need not necessarily be provided in the timing control IC and may be formed in a circuit on a substrate that is not an IC.
