摘要: A food mixing apparatus includes a main housing, a mixing container for receiving food, and having a central axis: Y, a rotor ring surrounding the mixing container, the rotor ring being fixed to the mixing container and having a central axis: X extending at an angle to the central axis: Y of the mixing container, and a support roller mechanism attached to the main housing, the support roller mechanism supporting the rotor ring at two points only from below to rotate the rotor ring about the axis: X. An aerating tube communicating with an opening formed in a bottom surface of the mixing container extends coaxially with the axis: X of the rotor ring. The aerating tube communicates with a blast duct mounted in the main housing.

摘要: In a rotational phase adjusting apparatus used for adjusting opening/closing timings of an intake valve or an exhaust valve of an internal combustion engine, a shoe housing driven by a driving shaft has a circumferential wall and a front plate which are integrally formed by aluminum die-casting. Each shoe has a distortion-absorbing hole, and a fan-shaped chamber for accommodating a vane for driving a driven shaft is formed between adjacent two of the shoes. The outer circumferential wall of each shoe has a recess which has an arch shape in section and extends in an axial direction. A clamp seat is formed on a front plate side. When the clamp seat is pressed by a draw claw, a portion of each shoe on the outer circumferential side of the distortion-absorbing hole is resiliently deformed, but a portion of each shoe on the inner circumferential side of the distortion-absorbing hole is deformed less. Thus, this improves the machining accuracy of working surfaces of the shoe housing which affects on sealability and sliding wear between component parts.

摘要: In a vane-type rotational phase adjusting apparatus used for adjusting opening/closing timings of an intake valve or an exhaust valve of an engine, a housing unit driven by a driving shaft has a fan-shaped accommodating chamber between adjacent two of a plurality of shoes arranged circumferentially. A vane unit for driving a driven shaft is disposed in the housing unit with its vanes being disposed in the corresponding one of the accommodating chamber so that the rotational phase of the driven shaft is adjusted by the pressure of fluid in the accommodating chamber. Recesses are formed as fluid reservoirs in a cross-sectionally half circle shape on the circumferential end walls of the shoes to hold the operating fluid therein when the housing unit and the vane unit are at rest because of engine stop.

摘要: A hot-melt adhesive comprising a self-curing unsaturated polyester resin having an air-drying functional group and an average polymerization degree of 8 or more has been found to have an excellent heat resistance and a high bonding strength when it is bonding-cured under heat and pressure. If an additive selected from a polymerization initiator, a polymerization promotor and a photosensitizer is incorporated into the present air-drying, self-curing polyester resin, the curing speed is extremely increased to such an extent as cannot be expected from the conventional curing type adhesives. The incorporation of such an additive into the self-curing unsaturated polyester resin is advantageously realized in the form of composite structures of various forms, e.g., a laminate form, a core-in-sheath form and an islands-in-sea form. Such a composite hot-melt adhesive structure is useful for improving a pot life. If a thermoplastic polymer is incorporated, the resulting hot-melt adhesive is further improved with respect to bonding strength. Since the present hot-melt adhesive is solvent-free and does not contain as a cross-linking agent a vinyl monomer, it is easy to handle and environmental pollution can be advantageously avoided.

摘要: With a split-type vulcanizing mold, a proper clamping force of the mold is obtained without carrying out shim adjustment. A lower washer (16), disc springs (17), and an upper washer (18) are inserted into each of a plurality of cylindrical holes (15) defined on the circumference of a spacer ring (14). A spacer ring (14) provides an outer ring (8) with a pre-load so as to be tightened up by a bolt (12), so that the outer ring (8) can be smoothly moved without backlash in the axial direction thereof all the time. Selection is made on the disc springs (17) having a load such that a proper clamping force is obtained when a deflection of the disc springs (17) is equivalent to half a deflection at the time of the maximum load of the disc springs (17), and regardless of whether variation in dimensions, at the time of fabricating the mold, is on the plus side or minus side, the variation in dimensions is absorbed to thereby clamp the respective sector molds (6) with a proper clamping force. As the sector molds (6) are caused to undergo reduction in diameter, the spacer ring (14) is pushed down by the bolster plate (9) to thereby descend, causing the disc springs (17) to undergo gradual deflection, so that the clamping force applied to the sector molds (6) is increased.
