摘要: An electronic timepiece includes a limiting circuit that is controlled by the rotation detecting circuit and limits output of a locking pulse PL. The electronic timepiece prevents the display of the incorrect current time due to impact, by executing impact detection when rotation is detected, and prevents errant hand operation in a magnetic field by not outputting a locking pulse PL by prohibiting impact detection when non-rotation is detected. The electronic timepiece controls the limiting circuit using a ranking-down storing circuit and if the electronic timepiece employs multi-stage load correction, executes impact detection when regularly occurring non-rotation is detected. Thereby, errant deviation in the display of the current time due to impact is prevented. The electronic timepiece prohibits the impact detection and causes the locking pulse PL not to be output when non-rotation other than those occurring regularly is detected. Thereby, errant hand operation in a magnetic field is prevented.

摘要: An analog electronic watch of the present invention includes: a display unit (2) for displaying time with a position of a hand; a stepper motor (3) for driving the hand; a motor drive unit (4) for controlling driving of the stepper motor at a predetermined hand drive cycle at normal time; hand position detection means (5) for detecting a position of the hand; a hand position detection means control unit (6) for intermittently controlling driving of the hand position detection means (5) at a first detection cycle which is longer than the hand drive cycle; and a detection cycle changing unit (7) for instructing the hand position detection means (5) to change the detection cycle. When detecting a predetermined detection cycle changing condition, the detection cycle changing unit (7) changes a cycle at which the hand position detection means (5) detects a position of the hand, from the first detection cycle to a second detection cycle, while maintaining the hand drive cycle at which the stepper motor (3) drives the hand.

摘要: In an autonomic traveling apparatus for a vehicle, vehicles usually travel an independent travel lane and when there are two approaching vehicles on the independent travel lane, they switch to pass-by lanes to pass by each other. To do this switching operation effectively, respective vehicles check and obtain road conditions around them while they are traveling and the obtained road conditions are transmitted to and collected by a travel administration center so that the road conditions at various points along the lanes can be obtained from the travel administration center. Accordingly, when the autonomic traveling trucks approaching each other and supposed to pass by each other, switch to the associated pass-by lanes, they change travel lanes avoiding the point of bad road condition on the basis of the road conditions sent from the travel administration center.

摘要: A car navigation system 1 includes a HDD map 110 and a cached map 109. Map data for entire area is stored in the HDD, and map data used by a route search unit 115 and a guidance unit 116 are stored in the cached map 109. A cached map area specifying unit 108 specifies map data files that should be stored in the cached map 109 for each navigation application, and stores the names of the specified map data files, linked to the respective navigation applications, into a navigation application consistency management table 103. A consistency judgment unit 104 monitors an update status of a data file of which name stored in the navigation application consistency management table 103, and stores the update status (completed or not completed) into the navigation application consistency management table 103.

摘要: In a system which operates under a Web environment in which a service providing server controls the provision of a service with operating a Web server and a client apparatus provides service with operating a Web browser, which are connected via a network. The service providing server stores the history of a job for providing the service with the user ID of a user who requests the service, then acquires, from stored histories, a history having a user ID matched to the user ID of a user who sends a request to browse the history of a job. When the Web server receives the browsing request from the user of the client apparatus via the Web browser, the service providing server creates a file for distributing updated information based on the acquired history, and transmits the file to the Web browser.

摘要: In an ECU attached to a motor assembly, inverter FETs, which generate outputs for driving a motor, are electrically connected to a substrate. A plurality of screw holes is formed in a heat sink thereby to fix the substrate. A resin member is provided between the heat sink and the substrate and has a plurality of motor terminals and a resin mold, which integrally fix the motor terminals by molding the motor terminals. The motor terminal has an embedded part, a L-shaped substrate-side exposed part and a motor-side exposed side including a curbed part. The resin member and the substrate are tightened together and fixed to the heat sink.

摘要: A user can efficiently perform a setting operation in an automatic layout system. An information processing apparatus having an automatic layout function includes a function for, in editing containers, measuring a distance between a first container placed on the document and a second container placed on the document, determining whether or not the distance is equal to or shorter than a predetermined distance, and if the distance is determined to be equal to or shorter than the predetermined distance, automatically setting the link between the first and second containers.

摘要: Of the pieces of facility information of the map information stored in map information storage section 6, those that need to be altered are stored in editing information storage section 10. Each piece of positional information on a facility in the updating information relating to the facility and specifically describing alterations is linked to a piece of pre-edition information and stored in the editing information storage section 10 as post-edition information to generate a pair of pieces of editing information. As a destination is selected and input at operation section 7, the editing information is retrieved and a piece of pre-edition information or post-edition information containing positional information same as that of the destination is detected. The pre-edition information is replaced by the updating information of the detected post-edition information of the editing information to define the destination and the route of movement. Thus, if the map information is unwritable, alterations to the map information can be made to it by means of editing information so that the user can be provided with appropriate guidance. Thus, the cost of revising the map information can be significantly reduced.
