    摘要: A stroke amount detecting device includes a magnetism detecting unit, a first magnetic field generating unit and a second magnetic field generating unit. A magnetic pole of the first generating unit and a magnetic pole of the second generating unit, which are opposed to each other, have different polarities. A distance between a gap end of the first generating unit and a gap end of the second generating unit, which are located on a farther side of a rectilinear axis, is smaller than a distance between an open end of the first generating unit and an open end of the second generating unit, which are located on a closer side of the rectilinear axis. The magnetism detecting unit detects a stroke amount of an object based on a magnetic flux generated between the open end of the first generating unit and the open end of the second generating unit.

    摘要: A sensor module includes a sensor, a cover, and a wiring unit. The cover holds the sensor and includes a connector configured to make a connection with an external device. The wiring unit is held by the cover, is arranged from the connector to the sensor, and includes a connecting member extending from the connector to a central region of the cover in its width direction, which is perpendicular to the central line, and a wiring member extending from the central region of the cover in its width direction to a vicinity of the sensor. The cover and connecting member are integrally formed from a mold material. The connecting member includes a first connecting terminal exposed from a surface of the mold material at the central region of the cover in its width direction. The wiring member includes a second connecting terminal conductively joined to the first connecting terminal.

    摘要: A rotation angle detecting unit includes an IC package having a magnetism detecting element, a sealing body, and leads; and a covering member having a fixing part and a supporting part, which are integrally formed from resin. The element outputs a signal according to change of a magnetic field generated upon rotation of a magnetism generating device attached to a detection object. The sealing body covers the element. The leads are connected to the element, and project from the sealing body. The fixing part is fixed to a supporting body so that the covering member is attached to the supporting body. The supporting part supports the package such that the element can output the signal. The package is press-fitted into the supporting part after its formation, so that the package is supported by the supporting part with a predetermined pressure applied to part of an outer wall of the sealing body.

A whole of the long side of the chip type electric element faces a long side of the first land. A length of the long side of the first land is defined as IA, and a distance between one long side of the first land and one long side of the chip type electric element is defined as IB, the one long side of the first land facing the chip type electric element but opposite to the one long side of the chip type electric element. The length of IA is equal to or larger than the distance of IB.

    摘要: A rotation angle detector is provided with a frame-shaped yoke which includes a first wall and a second wall in parallel. A rotation axis of a detection subject extends inside of the frame-shaped yoke. A magnetic flux vector is uniformed in a direction orthogonal to the first wall, whereby even if a position of a Hall element deviates, the detected magnetic flux density is less varied. A robustness of the detector is enhanced. A distance between the Hall element and a second inner surface of the second wall is shorter than that between the Hall element and a first inner surface of the first wall. A length of the second inner surface is longer than a length of the first inner surface. At a vicinity of the second wall, the area in which the magnetic flux vector is uniformed can be enlarged. Thus, the robustness is further enhanced.
