    摘要: A printing apparatus of the type capable of printing on both sides of a paper supplied thereto is improved by enabling simple operation through the use of a single operating lever. Adjustment devices allow simple vertical and transversely adjustment of the plate cylinders with respect to the paper position. After printing is effected, the operating lever is shifted stepwise from the printing position to a starting position through intermediate positions wherein blanket cleaning and plate ejection functions are effected. Changeover between single and two-sided printing is easily effected by a simple switch operation.

    摘要: A printing plate holding device for an offset duplicator. The device includes a base slidably positioned on one side of a grooved portion of a plate cylinder of the duplicator. A clamp plate is secured to the base and a clamp lever is attached to the clamp plate. A latch is loosely secured to a pin attached to the clamp lever and connected to a spring to provide a plate clamping force upon the clamp plate. A guide plate and a plate release preventing plate are attached to an outer longitudinal side of the base. An axial displacement control device is positioned at one longitudinal end of the cylinder while a circumferential displacement control device is positioned at the other longitudinal end thereof.

    摘要: A lateral perforation vertical registration device for an offset press in which the position of lateral perforations formed on printing sheets can be accurately set without the need for running a number of test sheets. A lateral perforating position reading plate is provided made of a transparent material and having both lateral and vertical scales. A printing sheet is placed on the perforating position reading plate prior to printing to determine the position of lateral perforating. A vertical scale provided on the outer peripheral surface of a numbering device mounting cylinder is then adjusted relative to a fixed pointer to correspond to the value read on the reading plate.

    摘要: An image adjusting device for an offset printing machine includes a drive source, an adjustment gear mounted on a rotary shaft and always engaged with a gear mounted on a blanket cylinder for adjusting a position of an image to be printed, a clutch mechanism for selectively transmitting a rotation of the drive source to the adjustment gear, and an encoder for controlling a rotational amount of the adjustment gear, the encoder being mounted on the rotary shaft. Further the image adjusting device has first and second detectors for detecting the rotational positions of the blanket cylinder and a cylinder gear, respectively, a microcomputer provided with calculating means for calculating standard and present phase differences between the blanket cylinder and the cylinder gear, and an input means for inputting an amount of adjustment on the basis of the present phase difference therebetween. Thus, it is possible to more correctly effect the image adjustment in the offset printing press.

    摘要: An ink removing system for an offset printing machine utilizes a pair of cleaning tank mounting guides secured to left and right side frame walls of the printing machine having recesses therein facing each other. A cleaning tank is provided with a pair of axially detachable mounting pins projecting symmetrically longitudinally of the cleaning top to opposite sides thereof and engaged within the recesses for rotatably mounting the tank. A cam shaft rotatably supported by the vertical frame walls carries cams operatively engaging bracket mounted adjusting screws functioning as cam followers on the cleaning tank and engaging the periphery of the cams such that rotation of the cam shaft rotates a vertically projecting cleaning blade fixed to the cleaning tank and to edge contact with the periphery of the ink roller for cleaning of the same. Rotation of the cam shaft is limited to high and low can positions corresponding to blade contact with the ink roller and displacement laterally to the side thereof.
