Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a hardware processor. The hardware processor estimates a body thickness and an irradiation field region of a subject based on a radiograph obtained by radiographing the subject. Further, the hardware processor calculates a distance from a focus of a radiation source to a radiation entrance point based on the body thickness. Still further, the hardware processor calculates an irradiation field size based on the irradiation field region. Yet further, the hardware processor calculates an exposure dose based on the distance, the irradiation field size, and an imaging condition used in radiographing the subject.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes the following. A hardware processor decomposes a signal value of input image data into band-limited signals having different frequency bands from each other. A storage stores pieces of preset data. Each of the pieces of preset data comprises tables to associate frequency with a response and to prescribe different response properties from each other. The hardware processor selects a piece of preset data from the pieces of preset data stored in the storage, converts the decomposed band-limited signals on a basis of tables in the selected piece of preset data, reconstructs the converted band-limited signals into enhanced image data, and generates a frequency-enhanced image through addition of the enhanced image data which is multiplied by a predetermined enhancement coefficient to the input image data.

Abstract: A positioning support apparatus includes a hardware processor. The hardware processor obtains a radiographic image of a subject taken through a radiography. Based on the obtained radiographic image, the hardware processor detects a relative positional relationship between the subject and at least one of a radiation detector and a radiation source, the positional relationship being at a time when the radiographic image is taken. The hardware processor receives a change input for simulating a change of a position of the at least one of the radiation detector and the radiation source. Based on the detected positional relationship and the received change input, the hardware processor generates a simulation-reflected image that is an image of the subject reflecting the change of the position of the at least one of the radiation detector and the radiation source. The hardware processor outputs the generated simulation-reflected image.

Abstract: A radiographic image capturing system includes the following. A capturing stand includes a holder to hold radiographic image capturing devices. A radiation irradiator is able to irradiate the radiographic image capturing devices at once. An image processor generates images based on image data acquired by the radiographic image capturing devices. The image processor removes a structural component derived from the front radiographic image capturing device, on the basis of a calibration image and the generated image. The calibration image is preliminarily generated based on the image data acquired by the rear radiographic image capturing device with no subject disposed. The generated image is generated based on the image data acquired by the rear radiographic image capturing device during actual image capturing. The image processor removes a streaky component residing in the generated image.

Abstract: A radiographing control apparatus includes a hardware processor. A radiographic imaging apparatus is exposed to a radiation from an irradiating apparatus through the subject. The hardware processor retrieves pre-exposure image data which the radiographic imaging apparatus generates by performing a pre-exposure to the subject at a pre-exposure dose of less than a dose of a subsequent main exposure, and calculates a total dose required to obtain diagnostic image data to be used for diagnosis. The hardware processor outputs a main exposure dose based on the calculated total dose to the irradiating apparatus and the radiographic imaging apparatus. The hardware processor retrieves main exposure image data which the radiographic imaging apparatus generates by performing the main exposure to the subject at the main exposure dose, and combines the main exposure image data with the pre-exposure image data to generate the diagnostic image data.
