Abstract: The present invention relates to a medium composition for culturing a strain for mass production of colanic acid and a method of mass producing colanic acid using the same. Ingredients for the culture medium of the present invention and their concentrations may be optimized using a statistical method, and used to greatly increase the production amount of colanic acid.
