    摘要: When the operation point of a DC/DC converter, which steps up/down the output voltage of a fuel cell stack, is in a range of reduction in response capability and further there is issued a request of determining an AC impedance, a controller switches numbers of the drive phases of the DC/DC converter to determine an AC impedance of the fuel cell stack. If the operation point of the DC/DC converter is in the range of reduction in response capability and further the precision of determining the AC impedance is reduced, then the determination of AC impedance in the range of reduction in response capability is inhibited and the switching of the phases of the DC/DC converter is implemented, thereby causing the operation point of the DC/DC converter to be out of the range of reduction in response capability, with the result that the precision of determining the AC impedance can be raised.

    摘要: The present invention detects a failure in an FC converter. A target voltage determination section determines an output target voltage for a fuel cell. A superimposition signal generation section generates a predetermined reference signal to be superimposed onto the output target voltage. A voltage command signal generation section generates a voltage command signal by superimposing the reference signal onto the output target voltage. A frequency characteristics calculation section calculates the frequency characteristics of the reference signal component superimposed on the output voltage of the fuel cell. A failure judgment section judges that a failure occurs in the FC converter if a value of the calculated frequency characteristics is less than the lower limit threshold value of an allowable range established based on reference characteristics. A gain adjustment section adjusts the gains in the FC converter so that the frequency characteristics calculated by the frequency characteristics calculation section correspond to the reference characteristics.

    摘要: There is disclosed a converter controller which can simply and early detect an abnormality of an auxiliary circuit constituting a soft switching converter. On turning off a first switching element, a controller detects a voltage between both the ends of a snubber capacitor and a voltage between both the ends of the first switching element, to obtain a difference voltage. The controller compares the obtained difference voltage with a voltage threshold value stored in a memory (not shown) to judge whether or not the difference voltage is larger than the voltage threshold value. When the difference voltage is smaller than the voltage threshold value, the controller judges that an auxiliary circuit is normal, to end processing, whereas when the difference voltage is not less than the voltage threshold value, the controller judges that a failure (an open failure) occurs in the auxiliary circuit, to shift to a fail safe operation, thereby ending the processing.
