    摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus comprises: an ink jet type of a recording head in which ink jet openings for jetting a photo curing ink are arranged so as to face a recording medium; a light source which is set so as to be opposite to a face of the recording medium to which ink is jetted, and which irradiates a light for curing the ink after the ink is jetted; a light intensity measuring section for measuring a light intensity of the light irradiated from the light source; a temperature measuring section for measuring an ambient temperature of the light intensity measuring section; and a light source control section for correcting a measured light intensity of the light source in accordance with measurement results from the light intensity measuring section and the temperature measuring section.

    摘要: An inkjet printer includes: a recording head for jetting ink cured with irradiation of light, onto a recording medium; a light source for irradiating the light toward the ink jetted on the recording medium, the light source being provided so as to face the recording medium; a media error detection mechanism for detecting a media error of the recording medium; a conveyance mechanism for conveying the recording medium in a predetermined direction; a control device for controlling the recording head and the conveyance mechanism, the control device controlling the conveyance mechanism to stop conveying the recording medium, and controlling the recording head to stop jetting the ink, when the media error of the recording medium is detected by the media error detection mechanism; and a protection member capable of being placed between the light source and the recording medium when the media error is detected.

    摘要: To reduce ink bleeding and growing of dot diameters for high image quality, an ink jet recording apparatus for recording a color image includes a first head group including chromatic color ink recording heads, a second head group including at least one of a transparent ink recording head and an achromatic color ink recording head, and light emitting devices for curing a photocurable ink having landed on a recording medium. The first and the second head groups are disposed along a scanning direction. The chromatic color ink recording heads of the first head group do not have the light emitting device therebetween along the scanning direction. And the light emitting device is arranged along the scanning direction between the first and second head groups and further arranged at least on a trailing side, in the scanning direction, of a trailing one of the first and second head groups.

    摘要: There is described an ink jet recording apparatus for properly adjusting the ink amount to be emitted onto a recording medium, to realize a reproduction of a high-resolution image free of sandy parts and uneven parts on the image surface. The inkjet recording apparatus includes: a recording head to emit a photo-curing ink, to be cured by irradiating a light, onto a recording medium; a light irradiating device having a light source that irradiates the light onto the photo-curing ink; and a controlling section to determine a maximum recording rate, so that the maximum recording rate is set at a value in a range of 80-95% when a recording rate of whole pixels to be recorded for every unicolor is set at 100%. The controlling section determines the maximum recording rate for every unicolor corresponding to a kind of the recording medium to be employed.

    摘要: There is described an image recording apparatus, a color proof creating system, a computer program product and a method for correcting light intensity, which make it possible to stably perform an exposing operation for creating a color proof. The apparatus includes a photometry section, a first photometry-processing section to find first light-intensity values for every gradation level, a second photometry-processing section to find second light-intensity values for at least a specific gradation level selected out of the gradation levels, a photometry-coefficient calculating section to calculate photometry-coefficients, serving as light-intensity errors in photometry, based on the first light-intensity values and the second light-intensity values, and a light-intensity correcting section to correct the intensity of the light for every gradation level, by performing arithmetic calculations for correcting image-outputting signals of the image to be exposed onto the photosensitive material, based on the photometry-coefficients calculated by the photometry-coefficient calculating section.
