    摘要: A moving object apparatus includes a shopping cart to be moved along an aisle which is provided together with wireless tags arranged near the aisle, an antenna which is attached to the shopping cart and has directivity toward a direction predetermined for communication with the wireless tags, and a transmission and reception units which capture positional identification data held by each of the wireless tags which are accessible by the antenna. The moving object apparatus includes a control panel section which processes a capture result based on antenna position data of the antenna which has been used for capturing the positional identification data.

    摘要: There are provided a barcode reader for reading an article code in a barcode form from an article tag, and an RFID tag reader for reading a shelf code from a shelf tag in a non-contact wireless manner. The article code read by the barcode reader is stored in an article code memory, and the shelf code read by the RFID tag reader is stored in a shelf code memory. There are also provided an information processing unit, a control unit and a transmission unit. The information processing unit is controlled by the control unit to process the article code and the shelf code as one set of information for article management. Then, the transmission unit transmits the processed information to a personal computer.

    摘要: A radio communication apparatus sends a signal for assigning a predetermined number of slots to one or more response devices. The response devices individually select one slot, and transmit own specific identification information in that slot. The radio communication apparatus has an all slot number counter and an empty slot number counter. The all slot number counter counts the number of all slots received within a slot counting period. The empty slot number counter counts empty slots among those received within the slot counting period. The radio communication apparatus calculates an estimated number of unread response devices whose identification information is not yet read, from the counted values of each counter and the number of slots at the present time. And, based on the estimated number of unread response devices, the radio communication apparatus determines the number of slots to be assigned next.

    摘要: A label and RFID tag issuing apparatus comprises a recording apparatus that records information on a production label and an RFID tag reader/writer that writes and reads part of the recorded information to/from an RFID tag. This label and RFID tag issuing apparatus writes a production number to the RFID tag attached to the container if a container for containing an article or articles carrying the production label and RFID tag is judged to be on the container loading plate. The apparatus, subsequently confirming presence of the container on the container loading plate, records on the production label production information including bar-code data corresponding to the production number that has been written to the RFID. Thus, information recorded on the production label and information stored in the RFID tag are tied, and thereby accidental affixing of a wrong production label onto the container can be prevented.

A member is arranged on an inner side opposing to the radio tag to form a surface substantially parallel to the surface to which the radio tag is attached by the member. Further, a metal reflector is attached on the surface. Electromagnetic waves emitted from outside are supplied to the radio tag and the electromagnetic waves have not consumed by the radio tag are reflected from the reflector to be supplied again to the radio tag.
