The stagnation space overlaps with a refrigerant-gas inlet side of the first cylinder chamber, the inlet side being bordered by a center plane as viewed in a direction of a center axis of the first cylinder chamber. In the first muffler chamber, the high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant gas is unlikely to enter into the stagnation space, so that heat is less absorbed to the inlet side of the first cylinder chamber.

    摘要: A muffler cover of a compression element has discharge outlets or hole portions that discharge a compressed refrigerant gas into a closed vessel from a compression element. A suction pipe provides refrigerant gas, which can be sucked into the compression element in the closed vessel. The suction pipe is attached to the closed vessel. A first direction and a second direction, which correspond to natural vibration modes of the suction pipes, do not coincide with a direction that connects two hole portions. Therefore, even if the refrigerant gas discharged from the compression element resonates in the closed vessel, vibrations of the suction pipe can be reduced.

    摘要: A compressor includes a closed container and a compression element that are welded together at least three welding points. The closed container has a suction port with a suction tube fitted to the suction port of the closed container with the suction tube being arranged and configured to suck a refrigerant gas, and the suction tube has a central axis that lies in a plane which is orthogonal to the central axis of the closed container and that passes through the suction port. The welding points are arranged such that straight lines connecting all combinations of any two of the welding points are neither parallel to the central axis of the suction tube nor perpendicular to the central axis of the suction tube, to reduce vibrations of the suction tube that occur when vibrations of the motor are transmitted to the closed container.

A suction tube for sucking refrigerant gas is attached to the closed container. A first direction and a second direction that are associated with a natural vibration mode of the suction tube do not coincide with a direction in which any two of the welding points are aligned. Accordingly, vibration of the suction tube can be reduced by arrangement of the welding points even if vibration of a motor is transmitted to the compression element.

The motor includes a stator, and a rotor disposed inside the stator and coupled to the driving shaft. The stator is spot-joined to the casing via a plurality of stator spot-joined portions at different positions along a circumferential direction about the driving shaft. Preferably, the stator spot-joined portions are disposed at different axial positions. Also, the stator spot-joined portions are preferably disposed at different circumferential positions from positions of compression mechanism-side spot-joined portions. When an accumulator is connected to the casing via a connection pipe, a straight line between any two of the plurality of stator spot-joined portions preferably crosses a vibration direction of a natural vibration mode of the accumulator.
