Abstract:
A method for forming plastic preforms into plastic bottles includes introducing a plastic preform to be expanded into a blow mould, wherein this blow mould has at least two side parts and a bottom part which is movable in a longitudinal direction of the plastic preform in relation to these side parts; introducing a rod-shaped body through a mouth of the plastic preform into the interior of the plastic preform; applying a first pressure to the plastic preform; applying a second pressure to the plastic preform, wherein this second pressure differs from the first pressure and is higher than the first pressure; applying a third pressure to the plastic preform, wherein this third pressure differs from the second pressure and is higher than the second pressure. After applying the third pressure to the plastic preform, the bottom part is moved in the longitudinal direction of the plastic preform towards the latter.
Abstract:
A plastic container has a mouth region and a main body adjoining the mouth region in a longitudinal direction (L) of the plastic container. The main body has a peripheral wall extending around in a circumferential direction of the plastic container. A container base adjoining the main body has a central region and a plurality of reinforcing ribs which, starting from the central region, extend in the direction of the circumferential wall. A stepped portion extending at least partially in the circumferential region of the plastic container is provided in a circumferential region of the container base which extends in the circumferential direction about the longitudinal direction (L), wherein a vertical position of this stepped portion varies in the longitudinal direction (L).
Abstract:
Provided is a device for reshaping plastic parisons into plastic containers, including a plurality of blow moulding stations each having blow mould devices which form a cavity, inside which the plastic parisons can be reshaped into plastic containers, and including at least one application device by which a flowable medium can be applied to the plastic parisons for expansion thereof, and at least one valve device which is arranged between at least one pressure reservoir and at least one application device and by which the supply and/or removal of the flowable medium, in particular under high pressure, in particular the blowing pressure and/or volume flow thereof, to the application device can be influenced or controlled.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for forming plastic preforms into plastic containers, having a blow mould which forms a cavity within which the plastic preforms can be expanded to form the plastic containers, and having an application device which is suitable and intended for acting upon the plastic preforms with a flowable medium in order to expand them, which is suitable and intended for acting upon the plastic preforms with a flowable medium in order to expand them, wherein the application device is placed against a mouth area of the plastic preforms in order to act upon these with the flowable medium. The application device forms at least one first flow channel for the flowable medium, which guides and/or directs at least a portion of the flowable medium to an inner wall of the mouth area in order to temper and, in particular, cool this inner wall.
Abstract:
A forming unit (20) for forming plastic preforms into plastic bottles, wherein the forming unit comprises a blow mould (20) having a first lateral portion (4), a second lateral portion (6) and a bottom portion (2), wherein said lateral portions as well as the bottom portion (2) form a cavity (15), within which the plastic preforms (10) can be formed into the plastic bottles, wherein the bottom portion (2) can be moved relative to the lateral portions (4) in a closed condition of the blow mould, wherein the forming unit (20) comprises a drive unit in order to move the bottom portion (2) relative to the lateral portions (4, 6), wherein the drive unit preferably has a movable piston element (32) which ist movable along a predefined stroke path. According to the invention, the apparatus has a first stroke path limiting means (22, 24) that limits the stroke path of the bottom portion (2) and/or of the piston element (32) in a first direction, wherein this stroke path limiting means (22, 24) is adjustable in order to modify the stroke path.
Abstract:
A method for forming plastic parisons to plastic bottles includes the following steps: introducing in a blow mold a plastic parison to be expanded, the blow mold having at least two lateral parts and a base part that is mobile in relation to said lateral parts in a longitudinal direction of the plastic parison; inserting a rod-shaped element in the interior of the plastic parison through a mouth of the plastic parison; applying a first pressure the plastic parison, applying a second pressure to the plastic parison, the second pressure deviating from the first pressure and being higher than the first pressure, applying a third pressure to the plastic parison, the third pressure deviating from the second pressure and being higher than the second pressure. The base part is advanced in the longitudinal direction of the plastic parison while at least temporarily applying the second pressure to the plastic parison.
Abstract:
A one piece plastics material container has mouth, a wall portion adjoining the mouth in a longitudinal direction (L) and a base portion in the form of a standing face. The base portion has an injection point—situated on the inside in a radial direction (R) with respect to the longitudinal direction (L)—on the outer wall of the plastics material container, a central area which surrounds the injection point, and a transition portion which extends from the central area to the wall portion. The transition portion has in at least one radial direction (R) and preferably in each radial direction (R) a curvature with a finite radius of curvature in at least one portion. The base portion has a plurality of reinforcement ribs which starting from the central area extend in the direction of the wall portion.
Abstract:
A blow mould for producing plastic containers comprises at least two blow mould parts and a hollow space formed from the at least two blow mould parts at which plastic parisons are transformed by an application of a flowable medium to the plastic containers. The hollow space includes an interior wall that has a contour which produces a predetermined configuration of the plastic containers. A first portion of at least two blow mould parts produces a bottom of the plastic containers. A second portion of the at least two blow mould parts has an opening region for discharging a gaseous medium during an expansion process of the plastic containers. The opening region extends along a first line and a second line, wherein the first and second lines run at least in some sections of the blow mould at an angle different from 0° relative to one another.
