Abstract: Disclosed is a packaging robot for articles such as beverage containers or the like. The packaging robot comprises a bridge (3) as well as at least two tool holders (5) arranged at the bridge (3), wherein the at least two tool holders (5) arranged on the bridge (3) are each movable along the bridge (3) and can each accommodate a tool head (7). It is provided that at least one tool holder (5) of the at least two tool holders (5) arranged at the bridge (3) is optionally able to be equipped with a particular tool head (7) adapted to the particular packaging process to be performed. It is also provided that the at least one tool holder (5) of the at least two tool holders (5) can switch into a standby mode while remaining at the bridge (3) if the particular packaging process to be performed by the packaging robot does not require the at least one tool holder (5) to be equipped with a tool head (7).

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a device (1) used to package articles into printed packaging blanks (2). In the method, a plurality of packaging blanks are first positioned in a magazine (4) and subsequently extracted from the magazine (4).
Subsequently, articles are brought together with the packaging blanks (2) extracted from the magazine (4) such that a particular packaging blank (2) hereby forms a particular packaging or a particular component of a particular packaging for in each instance at least one article.
It is moreover provided that the packaging blanks (2) are printed onto, with the printing onto a packaging blank (2) being carried out temporally after the positioning of the packaging blank (2) in the magazine (4) and temporally before the particular bringing together of the packaging blank (2) with the particular at least one article.

Abstract: Disclosed is a treatment device and/or cleaning device (10), with at least three treatment stations and/or cleaning stations (26, 36, 42), as well as a method used for the separate treatment of individual components of packaging units (14) formed in each instance by primary, secondary, and tertiary packagings.
The primary packagings are in each instance gathered together in secondary packagings as groups of two or more individual primary packagings. In addition, at least two such secondary packagings are accommodated in a tertiary packaging.
The device (10) comprises at least one separating station (16, 20, 48) used for the separation of the packaging units (14) into their individual components to be treated, as well as at least three cleaning stations (24, 34, 40) and/or inspection stations used for the separate treatment of the primary, secondary, and tertiary packagings, said cleaning stations (24, 34, 40) and/or inspection stations being arranged downstream of the at least one separating station (16, 20, 48).
The corresponding method provides the separation of the packaging units (14) into their individual components to be treated and the cleaning and/or inspection of at least the primary packagings as well as the cleaning and/or inspection of the secondary packagings performed separately therefrom and/or the cleaning and/or inspection of the tertiary packagings performed separately therefrom.-

Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging apparatus (1) and a method used to produce packaging units (35). The packaging units (35) comprise at least one article (30), in particular at least one beverage can (31), with at least one at least in some areas flatly designed packaging blank (20) arranged on the article (30) or beverage can (31). The packaging blank (20) has at least one passage opening (23) in the flatly designed area for the at least one article (30). The packaging apparatus (1) comprises at least one feeder device (2) for the at least one article (30) or for assemblies (40) of at least two articles (30); a pre-treatment module (9) to prepare the packaging blank (20) for the application to the at least one article (30); and a first packaging module (7) to apply and locate the packaging blank (20) to the at least one article (30). The pre-treatment module (9) comprises at least one device designed to reduce a resistance force in an edge area (24) of the passage openings (23) of the packaging blank (20) during the subsequent application of the packaging blank (20) to the at least one article (30).
