摘要： Disclosed is a method and apparatus to provide an IP connection between a mobile station (MS 10) and a computing device (CD 12). The method includes initiating the set up of the IP connection with a command sent from the CD to the MS over a local interface (13) and, in response to receiving over the local interface an IP message at the MS from the CD, routing the received IP message to an application that is resident in the MS. 2. In a presently preferred first embodiment the command is an AT command, more specifically an AT+CRM command having a value of five. In a presently preferred second embodiment the command places the MS into an auto-answer mode, and is an ATSO=1 command.

摘要： A system for handing off a mobile node includes a mobile node and a target foreign agent. To effectuate a handoff of the mobile node from an anchor foreign agent to the target foreign agent, a tunnel can be established therebetween such that data packet(s) sent between the mobile node and a correspondent node pass between the target foreign agent and the anchor foreign agent through the tunnel. After the tunnel is established, the mobile node can register with the target foreign agent to thereby bind the mobile node to the target foreign agent such that data packet(s) sent between the mobile node and the correspondent node pass through the target foreign agent to the correspondent node independent of the anchor foreign agent and the tunnel. Thereafter, the target foreign agent can close the tunnel between the target foreign agent and the anchor foreign agent.

The mobile node has a home network in which the mobile node has a home address. In response to the mobile node moving to a foreign network (such as by being turned on in the foreign network), the mobile node receives a care-of address. Where the mobile node has no ongoing communication sessions, the mobile node waits to register its care-of address with its home agent in the home network until the mobile node initiates a communication session within the foreign network, which may not ever occur. The mobile node by registering the care-of address with the home agent informs the home agent where to forward data sent to the mobile node's home address.

摘要： A vacuum device and method for extraction of a substance from a fluid source, the vacuum device including an upper member that may be selectively, and operably, connected to a lower member. The upper member defines a bottom opening, and has a vacuum pump in fluid communication with the bottom opening. The vacuum pump is selectively coupled to an energy source. The lower member defines an inner cavity, a first opening, and a second opening, the inner cavity in communication with the first opening and the second opening. An elastic membrane defining an interior cavity is disposed in the inner cavity and is coupied to the first opening of the lower member. In use, the second opening of the lower member in placed in selective fluid communication with the fluid source, and the lower member is selectively coupled to the upper member such that the vacuum pump is electrically coupled to the energy source and the bottom opening of the upper member is in sealed contact with the first opening of the lower member so that the vacuum pump is in fluid communication with the interior cavity defined by the elastic membrane.

摘要： A method, system and a computer program product for managing requests for Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) in a firewall is provided. The firewall scans for requests for URLs and extracts the URLs from the requests. The firewall then checks for the URLs in an exclusive domains list. If the exclusive domains list allows the requested URLs, the firewall allows the URLs. In case the exclusive domains list disallows the requested URLs, the firewall blocks the requests for the URLs.
