摘要: The invention provides a method of detecting high-mobility state of mobile terminal, comprising steps of: estimating a channel impulse response (CIR) based on received signal samples; performing channel equalization based on said received signal samples and the estimated channel impulse response; computing at least one characteristic value for a particular region of a relevant time slot based on the equalized signal samples; and deciding if said at least one characteristic value satisfies a predetermined condition that mobile terminal is in high-mobility state. The invention also provides a corresponding apparatus comprising: a channel estimator; a channel equalizer; computing means for computing at least one characteristic value for a particular region of a relevant time slot based on the equalized signal samples; and deciding means for deciding if said at least one characteristic value satisfies a predetermined condition of mobile terminal being in high-mobility state.

摘要: The invention relates to illumination, especially to a grid for illumination apparatus. This invention provides a grid (100) for attenuating electromagnetic radiation from a light source. The grid comprises a plurality of baffles (110), each baffle being electro conductive, wherein the plurality of baffles are configured to form a plurality of cells (120), each cell being formed as a waveguide so as to attenuate the electromagnetic radiation from the light source. In this way, the electromagnetic radiation from the light source can be reduced or prevented so as to decrease the danger to users.

摘要: This invention provides an illumination apparatus and an illumination method. The illumination apparatus comprises: a first light source for illuminating a first area; a second light source for illuminating a second area; a first measuring unit for measuring the illuminance of the first area; a second measuring unit for measuring the illuminance of the second area; and an adjusting unit for adjusting at least one of the first light source and the second light source to make the contrast ratio of the measured illuminance of the first area to the measured illuminance of the second area change gradually from a first predefined value to a second predefined value lower than the first predefined value during a first predefined duration. In this way, the relative higher contrast ratio (i.e. the first predefined value) enables the users to improve their work efficiency and the relative lower contrast ratio (i.e. the second predefined value) allows the users' eyes to be comfortable. In addition, because the contrast ratio changes gradually, the users' attention will not be distracted and the users' eyes will remain comfortable when the contrast ratio changes.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus, method and computer program product for enhanced data reception, wherein a tracking procedure is enhanced to support long payloads by introducing additional channel-gain tracking applied together with frequency-offset tracking to the payload data. Thereby, both residual frequency offset and residual channel gain are reduced.

摘要: The invention provides an illumination apparatus and a method of generating light by the illumination apparatus. The illumination apparatus comprises a light generation unit, configured to generate light having a color temperature in the range of [a first color temperature, a second color temperature]; and a controller, configured to control the light generation unit to generate light having a color temperature changing from a third color temperature to a fourth color temperature over time, wherein the third and the fourth color temperatures are in the range of [the first color temperature, the second color temperature]. The illumination apparatus of the invention could generate light having a changing color temperature over time, for example a color temperature changing from a less preferred color temperature to a preferred color temperature. When the user reads under light having a color temperature changing from a less preferred color temperature to a preferred color temperature, the accommodation error of the eyes of the user can be reduced.
