A method for adapting a reference signal configuration may be implemented in a WTRU. For example, a channel estimation measurement may be performed for the received transmission based on the indicated one or more first reference signal configurations. For example, one or more second reference signal configurations (e.g., to be used for a subsequent transmission) may be selected from a plurality of reference signal configurations based on the channel estimation measurement. For example, an indication of the selected one or more second reference signal configuration may be transmitted (e.g., to the base station).

摘要: Techniques and examples of tracking reference signal and framework thereof in mobile communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station of a network, a reference signal via a communication link between the UE and the base station. The reference signal contains resource configuration with respect to tracking reference signal (TRS) configuration. The UE also receives, from the base station, a TRS burst containing a plurality of TRS symbols with one or more components of the UE configured according to the TRS configuration. The UE processes the TRS burst to perform channel estimation, synchronization, time tracking, frequency tracking, or a combination thereof.

摘要: The present invention discloses various improvements to multi-user multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MU-MIMO-OFDM) wireless communication systems. In one aspect there is disclosed an efficient and accurate channel estimation method and system using locally consecutive pilot sub-carriers. In another aspect there is disclosed an efficient channel feedback method and system by applying a discrete cosine transform to channel coefficients. In another aspect there is disclosed an efficient method and system to calculate a part of the channel inverse by interpolation. These aspects can be used in combination to improve the MU-MIMO-OFDM system.

摘要: The embodiments herein relate to a method in a first network node (301) for handling Automatic Gain Control, AGC, scaling and Transmit Power Control, TPC, scaling of a signal received from a second network node (305). The first network node AGC compensates the signal for any AGC scaling changes. The AGC compensating the signal results in an AGC compensated signal comprising a constant AGC scaling. The first network node detects a TPC scaling change of the signal. The detection is based on the signal after the TPC scaling change and based on a predicted channel estimate. The predicted channel estimate is based on the signal before the TPC scaling change. The first network node TPC compensates for the detected TPC scaling change. The TPC compensation results in an AGC and TPC compensated signal comprising the constant AGC scaling and a constant TPC scaling according to the detected TPC scaling change.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a 5G or a pre-5G communication system to be provided to support a higher data rate following 4G communication systems such as LTE. A method according to one embodiment of the present invention is a method for attenuating interference of a signal received in a receiver of a filter bank multicarrier (FBMC) system, the method comprising the steps of: separately extracting data and a reference signal in a received FMBC symbol; obtaining a diagonal element channel of a desired symbol through a channel estimation from the extracted reference signal; generating an interference channel matrix of a non-diagonal component of the desired symbol, a diagonal component and a non-diagonal component of an interference symbol using a channel estimated diagonal component; reconfiguring to a banded channel matrix using an interference channel matrix; and attenuating the interference contained in the extracted data using the reconfigured banded channel matrix information and filter information of a transmitter of the filter bank multicarrier system.

摘要: A wireless receiver includes an RSSI generation circuit that obtains RSSI output corresponding to a carrier strength level of a received RF signal; a lookup table from which a threshold value corresponding to temperature information from a temperature sensor is read based on the temperature information; a comparison circuit that generates comparison output when the RSSI output is below the threshold value read from the lookup table, in which the threshold value is one input, and the RSSI output from the RSSI generation circuit is the other input; and a muting circuit that closes a signal line of an audio signal demodulated from the RF signal, and cuts off output of the audio signal, based on the comparison output from the comparison circuit. The above configuration enables the wireless receiver to eliminate fluctuation of a reception reaching distance relative to temperature change, and ensure stable mute operation.

摘要: When a channel between a transmission apparatus and a reception apparatus is distorted by multipath fading or other reasons, linear interpolation between pilot subcarriers produces a large estimation error, resulting in an increase in an equalization error and a decrease in reception performance. The present invention allows feedback of a signal that undergoes error correction, reduction in the channel estimation error through repeated channel estimation, and improvement in the reception performance.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for a User Equipment (UE) to receive signaling of UE-common Downlink Control Information (DCI) in a set of Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) over a Transmission Time Interval (TTI) are provided. The UE demodulates UE-common DCI using a Reference Signal (RS) that is scrambled by a UE-common scrambling sequence. The UE may assume that RS having a same precoding is transmitted in the set of PRBs over different TTIs. The UE may determine the scrambling sequence implicitly from an identity of a point transmitting the UE-common DCI or explicitly by higher layer signaling. The UE may determine the PRBs of UE-common DCI transmission by broadcast signaling or by higher layer signaling.
