    摘要: A device which detects the amount of displacement of a movable member moved by a feed device, and which outputs pulse signals corresponding to the amount of such displacement. The displacement amount detecting device includes a reference pulse generator for generating a train of reference pulses at a predetermined frequency, a carrier counter which counts the reference pulses from the pulse generator and outputs carrier signals, a dummy counter which counts the reference pulses from the pulse generator and which outputs a dummy signal, a transducer which receives the carrier signals and which generates a phase modulation signal proportional to the amount of displacement, a phase comparator which compares the modulation signal with the dummy signal and which outputs a first gate signal while the phase of the modulation signal leads the phase of the dummy signal and a second gate signal while the phase of the modulation signal lags the phase of the dummy signal, and input and output gating circuitry resonsive to the first and second gate signals. The input gating circuitry interrupts transmission of the reference pulses to the carrier counter while receiving the first gate signal and interrupts transmission of the reference pulses to the dummy counter while receiving the second gate signal. Such interruption is continued until the phase of the modulation signal coincides with that of the dummy signal, so that the reference pulses output from the output gating circuitry during such interruption correspond to the displacement amount of the movable member.

    摘要: A data transfer system in which a programmable sequence controller, a computerized numerical controller and a pair of data transfer devices are associated respectively with the controllers. Each of the transfer devices includes a data memory and a first read-out and write-in circuit for exchanging control data between the data memory and the associated one of the controllers. Each of the transfer devices further includes a second read-out and write-in circuit which is enabled to operate when the first read-out and write-in circuit is inoperative, for exchanging control data between the data memory and the other controller, so that the control data is transferred from the sequence controller to the numerical controller, and vice versa.

    摘要: An automatic centering controller for centering the axis of a tool spindle of a numerically controlled machine tool on the axis of a reference circumferential surface of an article mounted on the machine tool. The controller comprises a touch sensing device mounted in the tool spindle for detecting the touch of a probe thereof with the reference circumferential surface, a pulse generator for applying feed pulses to servomotors through a numerical controller so as to move the tool spindle along X and Y-axes, and a pulse control device connected to the touch sensing device, the numerical controller and the pulse generator. In response to a centering instruction and the touch signal, the pulse control device applies axis designation signals to the numerical controller being under a manual mode and controls the feed pulses applied to the numerical controller so that the tool spindle is first moved along the X-axis so as to position the axis of the tool spindle at the median between two points where the probe touches with the reference circumferential surface on the X-axis and is then moved along the Y-axis so as to position the axis of the tool spindle at the median between two points where the probe touches with the reference circumferential surface on the Y-axis.
