摘要： An inclination responsive switch is provided for repetitively actuating and deactuating a high-current load, such as a low-voltage lamp in an automobile. A gravity responsive device produces a low-current output signal, which has a first state when the gravity responsive device is in a first inclination position and a second state when the device is in a second inclination position. A semiconductor switching device has a low-current input terminal connected with a low-current output of the gravity responsive device. The switching device amplifies the low-current electrical signal to produce a high-current electrical signal in order to supply high current to a load connected with the high-current output terminal of the switching device to actuate the load in one inclination position and terminates the high current to deactuate the load in the other inclination position.

摘要： A motorized mirror actuator is disclosed which includes a movable ramp having upwardly facing angled surfaces for urging a cam element in and out of the normal viewing position, thereby moving the rear view mirror into a position which will enable the driver to see his blind spot. A small electric motor is sufficient to drive the mirror in and out of the appropriate angle for viewing the “blind spot” for the driver of the vehicle.

摘要： A cradle for holding a flashlight in a glovebox of an automobile and for facilitating the use of the flashlight as a light for the glovebox. The cradle has an opening to allow the flashlight to slide in and out of the cradle and a light opening to allow light from the flashlight to shine through the cradle. The cradle includes a reflector to cause light from the flashlight to be reflected in a different direction. The cradle can have a tapered inner surface on a side adjacent the insertion opening. The tapered inner surface is to increase the snugness of the fit of the flashlight and, when the flashlight has a push button switch, the tapered inner surface can serve to deactivate the flashlight when the flashlight is inserted into the cradle. A light assembly includes a flashlight and a cradle for holding the flashlight and for mounting the light assembly in a glovebox of an automobile.

摘要： A non-contact magnetic current sensing system (100) for measuring a plurality of power generation sources includes one or more fused electrical inputs (104, 105) that are arranged in parallel manner to form a comb feeding a center conductor member for receiving power from the power generation sources. A return connection block (113) is separated from the plurality of input fuses for providing a return path for the power generation sources. An electronic current sensing module (300) is used for providing current sensing for each of the plurality of input fuses (104, 105) in a non-contact manner. The invention provides that the electronic current sensing module is positioned over the comb for electrically connecting the electric current module to each of the plurality of input fuses and is powered solely from the power generation sources without the use of power from electrical mains.

摘要： A touch free, automatic seat and lid actuating system for toilets includes at least one of an advantageous drive mechanism for raising and lowering the seat and lid, a clutch mechanism enabling manual operation of the seat and the lid, and an attachment system for removably attaching the seat and the lid. The drive mechanism includes a first drive for operating the seat and a second drive for operating the lid. The clutch mechanism includes a pin interfitting into a notch, and biased into the notch with a spring. The attachment mechanism allows the seat and/or lid to be locked on the toilet in a lowered position, and readily removable from the toilet in a raised position.

摘要： A brake-transmission interlock device includes a housing which is slidably positioned over the exterior surface of a solenoid. A connector member extends from the exterior surface of the housing, and at its end, is pivotally connected to a lever arm having a blocking member which maintains the shifter of an automatic transmission vehicle in the park position unless the operator simultaneously depresses the brake foot pedal. The lever arm is operably connected to the solenoid drive member, and when in the retracted position, enables the shifter to be moved along the shift gate. The housing and connector member are integrally formed to thereby decrease the number of parts necessary for manufacturing. By attaching the lever arm to the connector member extending from the housing reduces the noise associated with the pivotal movement of the lever arm and increases the precision with which the lever arm is moved to and from the retracted position.
