摘要: A driving assistance device includes a storage medium that stores computer-readable instructions, and a processor connected to the storage medium. The processor executes the computer-readable instructions to recognize an object around a moving body, perform first control for avoiding contact between the moving body and the recognized object by steering, perform second control for avoiding contact between the moving body and the recognized object by braking, derive an estimated value of a yaw rate generated in the moving body on the basis of reference information including at least a plurality of types of information different from a measured value of a yaw rate output by a yaw rate sensor mounted on the moving body, and suppress the first control if a deviation between the measured value and the estimated value is greater than a reference.

摘要: A parking assistance control device detects a parkable area, where a host vehicle can be parked, based on target information, causes the vehicle to move from the initial position, which is the vehicle's position when the parkable area is detected, to the parkable area by controlling a driving device, braking device, and steering device and, when the target information indicates that a stopper is installed in the parkable area, causes the vehicle to stop with its position and direction with respect to the stopper matching a predetermined position and direction. The parking assistance control device causes the vehicle to stop with the distance between the vehicle's predetermined first reference point and the stopper matching a first predetermined value so that the vehicle is forward-parked in the state where the front end of a part, provided on the vehicle's front side and lower than the stopper, is separated from the stopper.

摘要: A first vehicle in traffic can use machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect an imminent collision with a second vehicle or other object. A well-trained AI algorithm can select a sequence of actions (braking, swerving, or accelerating—depending on the specific kinetics) to avoid the collision if possible, and to reduce or minimize the harm if unavoidable. With proper training, the AI model may also infer the intent and future actions of the second vehicle, as well as potential interference of other traffic agents. A good algorithm can also infer the intent of the driver of the first vehicle, for example based on prior driving habits. The AI algorithm may be implemented in a processor on the subject vehicle, potentially in communication with another processor at a fixed site such as a local access point or a central supercomputer. With super-fast AI solutions, lives will be saved!

摘要: An agricultural sprayer includes a purge tank, a nozzle configured to dispense an agricultural fluid onto an underlying field, and a downstream valve configured to selectively permit the air from the main fluid conduit to flow to the nozzle. A computing system is configured to initiate a purging operation to purge the agricultural fluid present within the nozzle and, upon receipt of the input, control an operation of a main valve such that the main valve is moved to an opened position to allow the air to flow through a main fluid conduit. In addition, the computing system is configured to monitor a first air pressure associated with the purge tank and a second air pressure associated with the nozzle. Furthermore, the computing system is configured to control an operation of the downstream valve during the purging operation based on the monitored first and second air pressures.

摘要: A method performed by a control arrangement for controlling a vehicle during a downhill start, the vehicle comprising an electric machine configured to propel and/or brake the vehicle and a brake system configured to apply a brake force to the vehicle. The method comprises, following a detection of a downhill start indication, when the vehicle is maintained stationary on an inclined road section by means of a brake force applied by a brake system, controlling the electric machine to apply a brake torque while controlling the brake system to release the applied brake force, and controlling the electric machine to gradually decrease the applied brake torque to control the acceleration of the vehicle when set in motion in a downhill direction on the inclined road section. Hereby, the downhill start is performed in a controlled, safe, and predictable way resulting in an increased comfort and drivability of the vehicle.

摘要: Smooth and agile acceleration of an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) that is being held at a standstill or is otherwise at a stop is important for ADV safety, efficiency, and occupant enjoyment. For example, as a practical matter, an ADV at an uncontrolled intersection should quickly and smoothly drive-off when it is its turn to advance—otherwise, it may get stuck at the intersection. Embodiments herein provide systems and methods to facilitate a pleasant and comfortable ride while having the ADV drive off smoothly (e.g., not a large jerk) and safely (e.g., not slipping) during driving from a stop—regardless of whether the ADV is on a slope or on a neutral (i.e., not sloped) surface. In one or more embodiments, the drive-off process may be divided into several stages from a standstill to an acceleration settle stage.
