摘要： Provided is a method and an apparatus for vocal-cord signal recognition. A signal processing unit receives and digitalizes a vocal cord signal, and a noise removing unit which channel noise included in the vocal cord signal. A feature extracting unit extracts a feature vector from the vocal cord signal, which has the channel noise removed therefrom, and a recognizing unit calculates a similarity between the vocal cord signal and the learned model parameter. Consequently, the apparatus is robust in a noisy environment.

摘要： A method for dynamically locating a wireless TCP proxy in a routing path in a wired/wireless integrated network is provided. A proxy for a mobile host transmits a proxy change request to a first higher-level proxy if a mobility of the mobile host is larger than a mobility threshold that is preset in the proxy. The first higher-level proxy determines whether the mobility of the mobile host is larger than a mobility threshold that is preset in the first higher-level proxy. The first higher-level proxy transmits a proxy change request packet to a second higher-level proxy if the mobility of the mobile host is larger than the mobility threshold of the first higher-level proxy. The second higher-level proxy selectively permits the proxy change if the mobility of the mobile host is smaller than the mobility threshold of the second higher-level proxy.

摘要： The invention relates to a call control method for handoff guarantee in a mobile terminal for minimizing handoff failure rate which continuously guarantees the same quality of service is during handoff of an existing call from the current cell into a new cell in a high-speed radio communication network which is constituted of micro-cells to support multimedia traffic. The bandwidth reservation is performed in the adjacent cells, call approval control is performed by temporarily storing a handoff request into a queue when an available bandwidth is insufficient, and a radio bandwidth is dynamically managed so as to efficiently use communication network resources. Further, new call block rate and handoff failure rate are periodically monitored for adaptation to dynamic variation of the communication network traffic state, by which the amount of a reserved bandwidth is dynamically adjusted according to the state so as to efficiently use communication network resources.

摘要： Provided are a pointing apparatus capable of providing haptic feedback, and a haptic interaction system and method using the same. The pointing apparatus includes a wireless communication unit, a controller, and a haptic stimulator. The wireless communication unit receives an event including haptic output information through wireless communication with the outside. The controller generates a control signal for reproducing a haptic pattern corresponding to the haptic output information. The haptic stimulator reproduces the haptic pattern by means of the control signal. Thus, it is possible to increase the performance and usability of a user interface of a user terminal including a touch screen.

The haptic experience service system, includes: a haptic reproduction apparatus providing haptic information of a force and texture of a virtual object or environment to a user; a server defining a virtual environmental factor corresponding to a user-desired haptic experience service by using a haptic contents database constructed with an environmental factor definition package, generating an experience environment corresponding to the environmental factor, and generating a haptic data output value corresponding to an input data of the haptic reproduction apparatus in the experience environment by using an interaction value definition package and an apparatus definition variable of the haptic reproduction apparatus; and a client recognizing an access of the haptic reproduction apparatus, providing the apparatus definition variable of the haptic reproduction apparatus to the server by using an apparatus definition data package, displaying a visual data associated with the experience environment generated by the server, transmitting to the server an input data generated by a user's manipulation and received from the haptic reproduction apparatus, receiving the haptic data output value interacted with the input data, and providing the haptic data output value to the haptic reproduction apparatus.Accordingly, it is possible to efficiently provide the haptic information to the user.
