    摘要: An apparatus and a method for processing a stereo image are provided. In the method, a first image and a second image are obtained via a first camera module and a second camera module installed spaced by a predetermined distance. When the stereo image is captured, the first image and the second image are alternatively sampled with a predetermined time interval. The sampled at least one first image and the sampled at least one second image are encoded. Therefore, the stereo image can be compressed with low complexity compared to the case of compressing a stereo image using a 2D image compression technology.

The apparatus further includes a three-dimensional (3D) data generation unit configured to change a compression ratio of the first image and the second image obtained by the camera unit.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for generating compressed image data, and outputting decoded images using the compressed image data. A compressed image data generation unit receives and compresses image data taken from a first camera arranged to generate an additional image and inserts the compressed image data into a specified area of the compressed image data generated using a picture image received from a second camera arranged to generate an ordinary image. An image output apparatus receives the compressed image data including the compressed picture image data, determines whether the compressed picture image data exists. If the compressed picture image data are present, the apparatus decodes the image data to generate a three-dimensional stereoscopic image as output using the ordinary image and the additional image. However, if the image output apparatus is not capable of three-dimensional image generation, it only provides the ordinary image.

    摘要: Provided is a multichannel video reception apparatus of a mobile communication terminal for digital broadcasting. An RF processor receives a broadcast signal of a digital broadcast service via an antenna. A baseband processor processes the received broadcast signal in a baseband. A controller controls the RF processor and the baseband processor to receive the broadcast signal including video frames of a main channel and a sub-channel. A memory stores a program code, reference data, and updatable user data, for an operation of the controller. A video processor receives the video frames of the main channel and the sub-channel, decodes the latest key frame of the sub-channel if a key frame of the main channel occurs while decoding the video frames of the main channel, and after decoding the key frame of the sub-channel, decodes the frames of the main channel. A display divides the decoded video signal into a main-channel image and a sub-channel image and separately displays the images. An audio processor outputs an audio signal of the digital broadcast service included in the broadcast signal.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for attenuating a stereoscopic sense of a stereoscopic image. To generate a stereoscopic image to which a disparity is applied, an object for which a stereoscopic sense attenuation is performed is extracted from among at least one object in the stereoscopic image, a stereoscopic sense attenuation degree corresponding to a position of the at least one object is calculated, and a final stereoscopic image in which the calculated stereoscopic sense attenuation degree is applied to the extracted object is output. Accordingly, a stereoscopic sense of a stereoscopic image displayed to overlap a display screen edge is attenuated, thereby minimizing eye fatigue and visual displeasure.
