Abstract: Debris signature-based robotic cleaning device navigation includes operating the robotic cleaning device in a first mode as part of a vacuum cycle, the device including suction ports configurable for different suction power levels and each port having a suction path along which debris entering through the suction port is collected by the device. In the first operating mode the suction ports are operated at a first suction power level. The navigation also includes changing operation of the device to a second mode and in which the suction ports are operated at a greater suction power, measuring a respective amount of debris collected through each suction port, and selecting a direction in which to navigate the robotic cleaning device based on the debris measurements.

The approach conducts a conversation with the user based on the learning preference mode, the environmental context vector representation, and the teaching content vector representation.

The exemplary embodiments may include receiving an encryption request from a first smart device, preparing a response to the encryption request and generating a key, encrypting the prepared response with the generated key, sending the encrypted response to the first smart device, splitting the key into two or more pieces, sending the two or more key pieces to a second smart device, sending the two or more key pieces from the second smart device to the first smart device, assembling the two or more key pieces into the key on the first smart device, and decrypting the encrypted response on the first smart device using the assembled key.

Abstract: A cognitive assignment engine (CAE) system attempts to infer semantic meaning from textual content of an incoming message in order to use the inferred meaning to assign the message to an appropriate responder. If the message contains insufficient textual content, the system identifies ontological structures comprised by the message's graphical content and classifies each structure as a function of the structure's location within the graphical content or of an intrinsic characteristic of the structure. The system then generates a message identifier by performing a computation on these classifications and uses the identifier to retrieve a previously stored graphical template that comprises ontological structures similar to those of the incoming message. The system associates the incoming message with a semantic meaning previously associated with the template, enabling the system to classify the message and to assign the message to the correct responder.
