Abstract:
A three-dimensional (3D) image can be rendered by selectively transmitting a left-eye image and a right-eye image from a display panel in a manner of forming a transmitting electrode and a blocking electrode of the same layer on a switching parallax barrier and selectively applying a voltage to the transmitting electrode and the blocking electrode.
Abstract:
An organic light emitting display device which improves expression capability in a low luminance level region, wherein, when receiving a pulse width modulation value indicating a low luminance level region, the device changes the received pulse width modulation value into a pulse width modulation dimming value indicating a high luminance level region, and expresses a low luminance level region through a luminance level indicated by the pulse width modulation dimming value and a pulse width modulation dimming operation. Luminance in a low luminance level region is controlled through a pulse width modulation dimming value indicating a high luminance level region and a pulse width modulation dimming operation, so that it is possible to minutely control luminance in a low luminance level region and improve expression capability in a low luminance level region.

Abstract:
A display device, a driving controller, and a driving method provide a fail-safe function. The operating states of driving-related circuits are monitored, and depending on the result of the monitoring, abnormal driving is rapidly and accurately normalized. The performance of display driving and the quality of displayed images are improved.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device having a display panel in which a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines cross each other to define a plurality of pixels that may include a timing control unit that outputs a first data control signal and an image data; a first data driving unit on a first side of the display panel that generates a first data signal from the image data according to the first data control signal, outputs the first data signal to one of the plurality of data lines from the first side, and generates a second data control signal from the first data control signal; and a second data driving unit on a second side of the display panel that generates a second data signal from the first data signal according to the second data control signal, the second data signal substantially synchronized with the first data signal, and outputs the second data signal to the one of the plurality of data lines from the second side.
