Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a liquid crystal display (or, LCD) including a light valve. The present disclosure provides a liquid crystal display comprising: a back light unit; a light valve panel disposed in front of the back light unit, and including a plurality of first unit pixel areas; and a video display panel disposed in front of the light valve panel, and including a plurality of second unit pixel areas.
Abstract:
A display device includes a display panel with signal wire pads connected to data lines; an integrated circuit (IC) that feeds a data voltage to the data lines; a multiplexer disposed on a substrate of the display panel, between the data lines and the integrated circuit; a flexible circuit board bonded onto the substrate of the display panel and connected to the signal wire pads; and a test circuit on the substrate of the display panel.
Abstract:
A display having a touch sensor comprises: a plurality of pixel areas disposed in a matrix manner on a substrate; a routing line running along a first direction on the substrate; a first passivation layer covering the routing line; a touch electrode covering the routing line and corresponding to a grouped pixel areas on the first passivation layer; a touch contact hole exposing some portions of the routing line by penetrating the touch electrode and the first passivation layer; a second passivation layer covering the touch electrode; a passivation contact hole exposing the touch contact hole and some portions of the touch electrode around the touch contact hole by penetrating the second passivation layer; and a touch terminal connecting the touch electrode and the routing line on the second passivation layer.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a liquid crystal display (LCD) device and a method of manufacturing the same, which can increase a transmittance of a high-resolution pixel. The LCD device includes a gate line formed to be shared by vertically adjacent first and second pixels, a data line formed to interest the gate line, first and second thin film transistors (TFTs) respectively formed in the first and second pixels, a passivation layer formed to cover the first and second TFTs, including a contact hole that exposes drains of the first and second TFTs, first and second pixel electrodes formed on the passivation layer and in the contact hole, and respectively connected to the drains of the first and second TFTs, and a common electrode formed under or on the first and second pixel electrodes.
