Abstract: A structure of connecting a panel driver to a side of a display panel and an electrostatic discharge (ESD) structure are discussed. The display device comprises a display panel including an active area where an image is displayed and a pad area corresponding to a non-display area, the display device comprising a first substrate and a second substrate which face each other and are bonded to each other to constitute the display panel. A signal pad is arranged on the first substrate, and a connection electrode is connected with one side of the signal pad. A flexible circuit film connected with the connection electrode is arranged. In this case, the signal pad includes a plurality of lines arranged by interposing an insulating film therebetween, wherein the plurality of lines are electrically connected with each other.

The liquid-crystal display device includes gate lines and data lines disposed on a substrate and overlapping with one another to define sub-pixels, two thin-film transistors disposed together in a circuit area of one of two sub-pixels next to each other in a horizontal direction among the sub-pixels; and common electrodes and pixel electrodes disposed alternately in each of the sub-pixels. The two thin-film transistors are connected to the two sub-pixels, respectively.

Abstract: Provided are an array substrate and a display device including the same. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, if an active area has curved corner portions, a compensation unit configured to a parasitic capacitance is included. Further, a plurality of data lines disposed to overlap the corner portions of the active area is disposed with a different width therebetween. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a difference in parasitic capacitance of each gate line or data line disposed to overlap the corner portions of the active area and also possible to reduce a resistance difference between data lines. Therefore, a degree of delay of a signal transferred through a plurality of gate lines or data lines is similar in each gate line or data line, so that a defect does not occur in a displayed image.
