Abstract: Disclosed is an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display including pixels and a shift register for driving transistors arranged in the pixels. The pixels include a first group of pixels disposed on a first row, and a second group of pixels disposed on a second row. The shift register applies a first scan signal to the first group of pixels and the second group of pixels simultaneously. In addition, the shift register applies a second scan signal to the first group of pixels and the second group of pixels sequentially.

Abstract: An electroluminescent display is disclosed. An electroluminescent display comprises a display panel including a plurality of pixels, each of the plurality of pixels including subpixels. A pixel circuit of each subpixels includes a driving transistor configured to drive the electroluminescent diode, a first switching transistor configured to supply a first voltage to a gate of the driving transistor in response to a first scan signal, a second switching transistor configured to supply a second voltage to the gate of the driving transistor in response to a second scan signal, a third switching transistor configured to supply the second voltage to a first electrode of the driving transistor in response to the second scan signal, a fourth switching transistor configured to supply a first supply voltage to a second electrode of the driving transistor in response to an emission control signal, a first capacitor between a first node connected to the gate electrode of the driving transistor and a second node connected to the second electrode of the driving transistor, and a second capacitor between the second node and a power supply line supplied with the second voltage or the first supply voltage.

Abstract: An organic light emitting display comprises a display panel having data lines, scan lines, emission signal lines, and pixels. The display also comprises a data driver configured to provide a data voltage corresponding to an input image to one of the data lines connected to a pixel and a gate driver configured to provide an N-th scan pulse to an N-th scan line to charge the pixel with the data voltage during a scan period within a frame period. The display further comprises an emission driver configured to receives shift clocks and the N-th scan pulse from the gate driver to provide an N-th emission control signal to the N-th emission signal line and to control a current path through the OLED based on the N-th emission control signal during a duty driving period following the scan period within a frame period.
