    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a flexible display device, and more particularly, a flexible display device includes a display panel, and a cover member which is disposed on the display panel and includes a thin glass and an adhesive member disposed so as to enclose the thin glass, at this time, the adhesive member includes a first adhesive member disposed so as to enclose an upper surface and a side surface of the thin glass and a second adhesive member disposed on a lower surface of the thin glass. According to the present disclosure, the flexible display device disposes a protective film above the cover member to provide a scattering suppressing effect and improve a surface hardness, a compression characteristic, the impact resistance and folding characteristic.

    Abstract: A foldable display device includes a display panel which includes a folding area and non-folding areas on some sides of the folding area, and a hinge unit which is disposed in an area corresponding to the folding area below the display panel to in-fold or out-fold the display panel. The hinge unit includes a plurality of rotary shafts and a plurality of coupling links disposed between the plurality of rotary shafts. Accordingly, the foldable display device can be bi-directionally (e.g., inwardly or outwardly) folded by the hinge unit with a simple structure. Further, a radius of curvature during the folding can be desirably changed by adjusting a component of the hinge unit, for example, a number of the plurality of rotary shafts and the plurality of coupling links, a cross-sectional length, and the like.

    Abstract: Provided is a cover window. The cover window includes a substrate layer. The cover window further includes a hard-coating layer on the substrate layer. The cover window further includes a protective film disposed on the hard-coating layer and including a base film and a plurality of protrusions protruding from the base film. The cover window further includes an adhesive layer disposed on surfaces of the plurality of protrusions and bonding the hard-coating layer and the protective film. The protective film includes a first area and second areas disposed on both sides of the first area. The plurality of protrusions are disposed in the first area. The plurality of protrusions have a shape in which the protrusions disposed on one side and the protrusions disposed on the other side are symmetrical to each other with respect to a central line of the first area.

    Abstract: A foldable display device is disclosed. The foldable display device includes a display panel including a folding area and a non-folding area, a back plate unit, and a plurality of adhesive layers disposed between the display panel and the back plate unit and between the back plate units. Some of the plurality of adhesive layers includes a first adhesive part and a second adhesive part having different adhesiveness. Therefore, an adhesiveness of the plurality of adhesive layers is controlled to reduce the stress generated at the time of folding the foldable display device.
