Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for decoding a video signal which comprises obtaining a split flag from the video signal, wherein the split flag indicates whether a coding unit is partitioned; when the coding unit is partitioned according to the split flag, obtaining split type information of the coding unit, wherein the split type information includes embedded block type information and the embedded block type information indicates that an embedded block partition (EBP) is a block located at an arbitrary spatial location within the coding unit; and decoding the coding unit based on the split type information of the coding unit.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of performing a deblocking filtering on a video signal. The method may include determining an adaptive sampling rate or an adaptive sampling pattern based on the property information of a decoded picture and performing the deblocking filtering using samples to which the adaptive sampling rate or the adaptive sampling pattern has been applied. The property information of the decoded picture may include at least one of a block size and a picture parameter.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of encoding and decoding a video signal using adaptive sampling. The method may include determining an adaptive sampling rate based on information about the properties of a decoded picture and performing interpolation filtering using samples to which the adaptive sampling rate has been applied. The adaptive sampling rate corresponds to one of a uniform sampling rate, a reduced sampling rate, and a variable sampling rate.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for processing a video signal using graph-based transform and a device for the method. A method for processing a video signal using graph-based transform, including specifying a set of available graph configurations in order to process the video signal, extracting signal structure information from samples within a processing block of the image, configuring a graph for the samples within the processing block using the signal structure information, determining transform for the processing block using the graph, and transforming the samples within the processing block using the transform. The signal structure information may be defined as information about a graph configuration which belongs to the set of specified graph configurations and which is applied to each of the samples within the processing block.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for processing a video signal, the method comprising: receiving a multiview video signal; identifying whether a current picture including a first layer and a second layer is decoded by using alpha data within the multiview video signal; obtaining the alpha data corresponding to the first layer and the second layer when the current picture is identified to be decoded by using the alpha data; and decoding a current block included in the current picture by using the alpha data, wherein the alpha data may include information concerning transparency information of the current picture.
