摘要: A ripple push method for a graph cut includes: obtaining an excess flow ef(v) of a current node v; traversing four edges connecting the current node v in top, bottom, left and right directions, and determining whether each of the four edges is a pushable edge; calculating, according to different weight functions, a maximum push value of each of the four edges by efw=ef(v)*W, where W denotes a weight function; and traversing the four edges, recording a pushable flow of each of the four edges, and pushing out a calculated flow. The ripple push method explores different push weight functions, and significantly improves the actual parallelism of the push-relabel algorithm.

摘要: Described herein is a novel method and system for segmentation of the spine using 3D volumetric data. In embodiments, a method includes an extracting step, localization step, and segmentation step. The extracting step comprises detecting the spine centerline and the spine canal centerline. The localization step comprises localizing the vertebra and intervertebral disc centers. Background and foreground constraints are created for each vertebra digit. Segmentation is performed for each vertebra digit and based on the hard constraints.

Additionally, the operations include convolving the learned image representation of the target image with the text embedding of the text query. Moreover, the operations include generating an object-segmented image based on the convolving of the learned image representation of the target image with the text embedding.

摘要: A method includes capturing an image of a powder bed with a visible light camera that shares an optical axis with a laser beam. The laser beam is configured for heating the powder bed. The method also includes increasing first intensities of first pixels of the image that are indicative of foreign objects within the image and normalizing second intensities of second pixels of the image that are indicative of uneven illumination of the powder bed. The method also includes processing the image via contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization after increasing the first intensities and after normalizing the second intensities. The method also includes using graph-based image segmentation to identify third pixels of the image that correspond to an area of the powder bed that has been processed by the laser beam and indicating the third pixels via a user interface.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to video segmentation based on detected video features. More specifically, a segmentation of a video is computed by determining candidate boundaries from detected feature boundaries from one or more feature tracks; modeling different segmentation options by constructing a graph with nodes that represent candidate boundaries, edges that represent candidate segments, and edge weights that represent cut costs; and computing the video segmentation by solving a shortest path problem to find the path through the edges (segmentation) that minimizes the sum of edge weights along the path (cut costs). A representation of the video segmentation is presented, for example, using interactive tiles or a video timeline that represent(s) the video segments in the segmentation.

摘要: Provided herein are systems and methods for automatically segmenting a 3D model of a patient's teeth. A patient's dentition may be scanned. The scan data may be converted into a 3D model, including a graph-based representation of the 3D model. The graph-based representation can be input into a machine learning model to train the machine learning model to segment the 3D model into individual dental components. Trained machine learning models can also be used to segment graph-based representations of a 3D model of a patient's teeth.

摘要: A system and method of image processing including a processor in communication with a display and a computer readable recording medium having instructions executed by the processor to read an image data set from the memory, segment the image data set, and skeletonize the segmented image data set. The instructions cause the processor to graph the skeletonized image data set, assign a branch identification (ID) for each branch in the graph, and associate each voxel of the segmented image data set with a branch ID. The instructions cause the processor to generate a three-dimensional (3D) mesh model from the graphed skeletonized image data set, associate each vertex of the 3D mesh model with a branch ID; and display in a user interface the 3D mesh model, and an image of the image data set.

摘要: Graph-theoretic segmentation methods for segmenting histological structures in H&E stained images of tissues. The method rely on characterizing local spatial statistics in the images. Also, a method for quantifying intratumor spatial heterogeneity that can work with single biomarker, multiplexed, or hyperplexed immunofluorescence (IF) data. The method is holistic in its approach, using both the expression and spatial information of an entire tumor tissue section and/or spot in a TMA to characterize spatial associations. The method generates a two-dimensional heterogeneity map to explicitly elucidate spatial associations of both major and minor sub-populations.

摘要: A method for identifying a liver in a CT image of a patient is provided. The method includes applying a liver model to the CT image. The method further includes extracting an internal liver region and an external liver region from the CT image based on the applied liver model. The method also includes performing a graph cut algorithm on the CT image based on the internal liver region and the external liver region to produce a liver image. The performing of the graph cut algorithm on the CT image to produce the liver image may be further based on an internal heart and/or kidney region and an external heart and/or kidney region. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium encoded with a program is provided.
