Abstract: A computer-implemented method for controlling a device based on an ensemble model can include receiving sensing information associated with a user's biometric state; inputting first sensing information to a first model, determining a first uncertainty of the first model, and generating a first weight value for weighting a first result value; inputting second sensing information into a second model, determining a second uncertainty of the second model, and generating a second weight value for weighting a second result value; generating a final result value based on combining the first result value weighted by the first weight value and the second result value weighted by the second weight value; generating a predicted biometric state of the user based on the final result value; and executing an operation of the device based on the predicted biometric state.

Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus for detecting wrist steps and a method thereof, which can exactly detect a user wrist step based on a plurality of acceleration signals. The apparatus includes an acceleration sensor, a controller and a display unit. The acceleration sensor detects a plurality of acceleration signals corresponding to a plurality of axis directions. The controller detects a plurality of wrist step feature points corresponding to the plurality of acceleration signals, detects time periods between the plurality of wrist step feature points, selects any one acceleration signal among the plurality of acceleration signals based on a standard deviation of the time periods, and detects wrist steps corresponding to the selected acceleration signal. The display unit displays the wrist steps.

Abstract: A terminal wearable by a user and a control method thereof are provided. The terminal includes: a body configured to wrap at least one region of a wrist and detachably formed; a sensing unit disposed in one surface of the body and configured to sense a movement of at least one of tendons passing through the wrist and the wrist; and a controller configured to generate a control signal for controlling an external device to execute a function previously matched to the sensed movement of the at least one of the tendons and the wrist.
