Abstract: A display apparatus and a method for executing and installing an application thereof are provided. The method of executing an application of a display apparatus includes: executing a first application; displaying a list of external devices able to execute a second application included in the first application, on a screen of the display apparatus; and transmitting the second application to an external device selected from the list of eternal devices, wherein the first application is downloaded from a server to the display apparatus.
