Abstract:
A reciprocating compressor includes a case having a gas suction pipe and a gas discharge pipe. A frame unit is installed in the case and a compression unit, including a cylinder is installed in the frame unit. The compression unit has a plurality of slots formed in a longitudinal direction on its outer circumferential surface. A piston is coupled with a reciprocating motor so as to linearly and reciprocally move into and out of the cylinder and has a plurality of through holes formed at its outer side, communicating with the slots. The compression unit has a gas muffler member installed at an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder.
Abstract:
In a reciprocating compressor including a piston slide-inserted into the compression space of the cylinder, having a gas path therein, inducing a fluid into the compression space through the gas path and varying a volume of the compression space while performing a linear reciprocating motion with a mover of a reciprocating motor; a suction valve combined with the front end of the piston detachably and adjusting suctioning of the fluid into the compression space; and a discharge valve combined with the front end of the piston detachably and opening/closing the compression space of the cylinder in the linear reciprocating motion of the piston, a suction valve assembly of a reciprocating compressor includes an elastic member for absorb impact of the suction valve in clash and a combining member consisting of a head portion having a width so as to be overlapped with part of an opening/closing portion of the suction valve or a retainer and a valve seat, and accordingly a reliability of the compressor can be improved.
Abstract:
A suction valve assembly of a reciprocating compressor includes: an inertial valve having a valve plate detachably attached at a valve seat of a piston, and opening and shutting the suction passage, and a support bar extended from a rear side of the valve plate, inserted into the suction passage and a plurality of guide grooves at regular intervals in a circumferential direction thereof; and guide pins slidably inserted into the guide grooves of the inertial valve and fixed at the piston to limit an opening rate of the valve plate, thereby minimizing a dead volume inside a compression chamber by making a valve side forming the compression chamber to be plane and strengthening a structural coupling strength of a valve.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for controlling operation of a reciprocating compressor is capable of reducing a stroke estimation error by eliminating an error that occurs due to resistance and inductance of a compressor motor by estimating a stroke with a counter electromotive force induced by a searching coil. Furthermore, by leaving errors of inductance and resistance, among all motor parameters, out of consideration in stroke estimation, a stroke estimation error can be reduced.
