Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile terminal comprising: a communication unit for communicating with a plurality of target devices in a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) manner; a camera for capturing an image; and a controller configured for: receiving a plurality of advertisement information respectively including a plurality of shape information of the plurality of target devices from the plurality of target devices; and when first and second target devices among the plurality of target devices have the same shape information and when a distance of the first target device is equal to a distance of the second target device, activating a connection between the mobile terminal and the first target device based on an operation of at least one of the first target device or the second target device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an access control method and device in a wireless power transmission system. A wireless power transmission device comprises: a power conversion circuit configured to have a plurality of primary coils and transmit wireless power to a wireless power reception device by using the primary coil which has formed magnetic coupling to the wireless power reception device at an operating frequency; and a communication/control circuit configured to perform in-band communication with the wireless power reception device by using the operating frequency and perform out-band communication with the wireless power reception device by using a frequency other than the operating frequency, wherein the communication/control circuit can transmit information for notifying whether or not connection to the wireless power reception device is possible by using the out-band communication.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a wireless power receiver for receiving wireless power on the basis of out-band communication is provided. The receiver comprises: a power pick-up circuit configured to receive wireless power from a wireless power transmitter at an operating frequency; and a communication/control circuit configured to perform at least one of in-band communication using the operating frequency and out-band communication using a frequency other than the operating frequency. Here, on the basis of at least one of the received voltage in the power pick-up circuit and a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of a first signal related to the out-band communication, the communication/control circuit may perform a power interruption procedure for interrupting transmission of the wireless power and a disconnection procedure for releasing the connection of the out-band communication.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for performing wireless power transmission on the basis of authentication. A wireless power receiver according to the present specification comprises a communication/control circuit for performing an authentication procedure on the basis of out-band communication, wherein the out-band communication is Bluetooth low energy (BLE) communication, and the communication/control circuit performs the authentication procedure on the basis of a logical link control and adaptation protocol (L2CAP) or a generic attribute profile (GATT) of the BLE communication. The present disclosure defines an authentication procedure or authentication messages of a wireless transmission device or a wireless reception device by using an out-band communication protocol, and thus can support various applications of wireless power.
