Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for noise canceling that includes: an input unit configured to receive an input voice signal; and one or more processors configured to perform a first noise cancellation using as input the received input voice signal to generate a first voice signal by cancelling noise from the input voice signal using a noise canceling model which is trained using a plurality of reference voice signals, perform a second noise cancellation using as input the first voice signal generated by the noise canceling model to generate a second voice signal in which residual noise is canceled from the first voice signal using statistical analysis, and generate an output voice signal comprising an encoding of the second voice signal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for separating a speech based on artificial intelligence in a vehicle. The method includes separating a speech signal using at least one sound beam-forming or source separation; and performing a speech recognition function by detecting a speaker (user) of the separated signal, and accordingly, other users in the vehicle in addition to a driver may use the speech recognition function. A device and method for separating speech based on artificial intelligence in vehicle of the present disclosure can be associated with artificial intelligence modules, drones (unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)), robots, augmented reality (AR) devices, virtual reality (VR) devices, devices related to 5G service, etc.

Abstract: A voice recognition method of an artificial intelligence robot device is disclosed. The voice recognition method includes collecting a first voice spoken by a user and determining whether a wake-up word of the artificial intelligence robot device is recognized based on the collected first voice; if the wake-up word is not recognized, sensing a location of the user using at least one sensor and determining whether the sensed location of the user is included in a set voice collection range; if the location of the user is included in the voice collection range, learning the first voice and determining a noise state of the first voice based on the learned first voice; collecting a second voice in an opposite direction of the location of the user according to a result of the determined noise state of the first voice; and extracting a feature value of a noise based on the second voice and removing the extracted feature value of the noise from the first voice to obtain the wake-up word. The artificial intelligence robot device may be associated with an artificial intelligence module, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, devices related to 5G services, and the like.

Abstract: A mobile terminal includes: a microphone; a short-range communication module; and a controller operably coupled to the microphone and the short-range communication module. The controller is configured to: establish communication with a wearable device via the short-range communication module; enter an audio recognition mode when the communication is established with the wearable device to perform surrounding context awareness in response to audio received via the microphone; and cause the short-range communication module to transmit notification information corresponding to a preset audio signal to the wearable device when the preset audio signal is detected in the audio.
