    Abstract: A compressor includes: a case including a discharge part configured to discharge refrigerant and defining a reservoir space configured to store oil; a drive unit including a stator and a rotor; a rotary shaft coupled to the rotor; a compression unit coupled to the rotary shaft and lubricated with oil, the compression unit being configured to compress refrigerant and discharge compressed refrigerant in a direction away from the discharge part; a muffler coupled to the compression unit and configured to guide refrigerant to the discharge part; a separator coupled to at least one of the rotor or the rotary shaft and configured to separate oil from refrigerant guided to the discharge part; and a coupling unit that fixes the separator to the at least one of the rotor or the rotary shaft.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder having an inner circumferential surface with an annular shape to form a compression space; a roller having a plurality of vane slots disposed at predetermined intervals along an outer circumferential surface thereof, and rotatably inserted into the compression space of the cylinder; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the respective vane slots to rotate together with the roller and by which the compression space is divided into a plurality of compression chambers. At least one of the vane slots is unequally spaced in a circumferential direction. Accordingly, periodicity of noise may be reduced to thereby increase the effect of noise reduction of the compressor.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a scroll compressor including a casing, a drive motor arranged in the casing, a shaft coupled to the drive motor, a main frame arranged under the drive motor, a fixed scroll arranged under the main frame, an orbiting scroll arranged between the main frame and the fixed scroll and engaged with the fixed scroll to form a compression chamber with the shaft eccentrically coupled to the orbiting scroll, a discharge cover coupled to the fixed scroll to form a closed space, a discharge port formed in the fixed scroll to connect the compression chamber and the closed space, and a discharge hole passing through the main frame and the fixed scroll, wherein an inlet and an inner portion of the discharge hole have different cross-sectional areas. The scroll compressor can reduce the noise caused by movement of the refrigerant by improving the structure of the discharge holes.
