Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for providing charging status information in a wireless power transmission system. Disclosed in the present specification is a wireless power reception device comprising: a power pickup unit configured to receive wireless power from a wireless power transmission device by means of magnetic coupling with the wireless power transmission device at an operational frequency and convert an alternating current signal generated by the wireless power into a direct current signal; a battery configured to receive the direct current signal from the power pickup unit; and a communication/control unit configured to receive the direct current signal from the power pickup unit, perform a handover procedure from in-band communication using the operational frequency to out-band communication using a frequency other than the operational frequency, perform a procedure for selecting a priority display device on which charging status information about the battery is to be displayed through the out-band communication with the wireless power transmission device, and generate the charging status information. A user can conveniently and efficiently check charging status information about a device being charged.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and method for performing power allocation and out-band activation by using short-range communication in a wireless power transmission system. A wireless power receiver device may comprise: a power pick-up circuit configured to receive power wirelessly from a wireless power transmitter device including a plurality of primary coils by magnetic coupling to the wireless power transmitter device at an operating frequency and to convert an alternating current signal induced by the wireless power into a direct current signal; a communication/control circuit receiving the direct current signal supplied from the power pick-up circuit and including an in-band communication module which communicates with the wireless power transmitter device by using the operating frequency, and an out-band communication module which communicates with the wireless power transmitter device by using any frequency except for the operating frequency; and a load configured to receive the direct current signal supplied from the power pick-up circuit, wherein the communication/control circuit transmits a message informing of the start of power allocation negotiation, to other wireless power receiver devices by using the out-band communication module.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for selecting and connecting a gateway by a user device by using Bluetooth low energy technology, and a voice recognition system including a first device, a first gateway, and a voice recognition server. The first device broadcasts a voice signal to a neighboring gateway, the voice signal is forwarded to the voice recognition server by neighboring gateways, and the voice recognition server transmits a connection request message to an optimal gateway by processing the voice signal. After authentication of the voice recognition server is performed, the optimal gateway receiving the connection request message and a user device are connected to each other.
