The present specification relates to a method by which a source device transmits audio data in a short-range wireless communication system, and to an apparatus for same. The method proposed in the present specification comprises the steps of: establishing a connection with a sink device; performing a setup procedure for transmitting the audio data with the sink device on the basis of the established connection; and transmitting, to the sink device, the audio data on the basis of the setup procedure, wherein the steps of performing a setup procedure further comprises a step of transmitting, to the sink device, timing information on a transmission timing of the audio data and metadata information for transmission of the audio data, and the audio data is transmitted without transmission of a periodic advertisement message for transmitting the timing information and the metadata information.

Provided are: a method for establishing out-band communication performed by a wireless power transmitter in a wireless power transmission system; and a device for using same. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting a plurality of pieces of capability information to a plurality of wireless power receivers respectively through in-band communication, wherein each of the plurality of pieces of capability information includes information about whether the wireless power transmitter supports the out-band communication; establishing the out-band communication with the plurality of wireless power transmitters on the basis of the transmission of the plurality of pieces of capability information; and exchanging power control information pertaining to the plurality of wireless power receivers with the plurality of wireless power receivers through the out-band communication.

A wireless power reception device according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises a controller for: receiving wireless power from a wireless power transmission device, and performing power pickup for receiving the wireless power from the wireless power transmission device by magnetic coupling with the wireless power transmission device at an operating frequency; and communicating with the wireless power transmission device by using at least one of in-band communication using the operating frequency and out-band communication using a frequency other than the operating frequency, and controlling reception of the wireless power, wherein, in the power transmission step of receiving the wireless power, the controller transmits or receives, using the in-band communication, a message for controlling the wireless power, and transmits or receives, using the out-band communication, an authentication message for authentication of the wireless power transmission device.

According to one aspect of the present invention, a wireless power receiver for receiving wireless power on the basis of out-band communication is provided. The receiver comprises: a power pick-up circuit configured to receive wireless power from a wireless power transmitter at an operating frequency; and a communication/control circuit configured to perform at least one of in-band communication using the operating frequency and out-band communication using a frequency other than the operating frequency. Here, on the basis of at least one of the received voltage in the power pick-up circuit and a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of a first signal related to the out-band communication, the communication/control circuit may perform a power interruption procedure for interrupting transmission of the wireless power and a disconnection procedure for releasing the connection of the out-band communication.

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving data using a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) technology. A method of transmitting or receiving data using Bluetooth low energy (BLE) in a wireless communication system includes forming Bluetooth LE connection with a second device, establishing an isochronous channel for transmitting an audio packet with the second device and transmitting audio packets to the second device through the isochronous channel using an interleaved method at a specific channel interval. The sequence in which the audio packets are transmitted may be determined regardless of whether acknowledgement (ACK) for each of the audio packets is received from the second device.

A method for creating a personal area network identifier (PAN ID) of a network in a wireless communication system includes creating a first PAN ID; receiving a message including a second PAN ID from a source coordinator; comparing the first PAN ID with the second PAN ID included in the received message; and when the first PAN ID and the second PAN ID are the same according to the comparison result, transmitting an indication message related to a PAN ID conflict to the source coordinator, wherein at least any one of the first PAN ID and the second PAN ID may be created through a hash algorithm and the indication message may include at least any one of a conflicted PAN ID or an error code indicating a conflict.
