    Abstract: A scroll compressor may include an oil supply passage provided independent of an intermediate pressure chamber to allow an oil passage of a rotational shaft to communicate with a compression chamber, such that some of the oil suctioned through the oil passage is guided to the compression chamber. As an inner space of a casing communicates directly with the compression chamber without passing through the intermediate pressure chamber, even in a state in which an operating pressure ratio is, for example, 1.3 or less, namely, even if a differential pressure between the inner space and the compression chamber is not large, oil stored in the inner space may be smoothly supplied to the compression chamber.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is disclosed, which comprises an auxiliary discharge path capable of sufficiently making sure of a discharge area at an initial discharge stage. The compressor comprises a fixed scroll including a fixed end plate portion and a fixed wrap, and an orbiting scroll including an orbiting end plate portion and an orbiting wrap, wherein a discharge hole is formed in the fixed end plate portion, and an auxiliary discharge path for connecting a side of the orbiting wrap with a bottom surface of the orbiting wrap is provided to be communicated with the discharge hole, whereby a compressed refrigerant may be discharged through the auxiliary discharge path.

    Abstract: A compressor according to embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a discharge valve which is provided so as to be coupled to a fixed scroll and open/close a discharge hole. The discharge valve includes a coupling portion which is coupled to one surface of the fixed scroll, the surface facing a muffler, and a head portion extending from the coupling portion and opening/closing the discharge hole. The head portion may be provided with a communicating hole for allowing the discharge hole and the muffler to be in communication with each other. Accordingly, a backflow of a compressed refrigerant is prevented during the operation of the compressor, and thus over-compression of the refrigerant can be prevented. Also, when the compressor stops operating, only a certain amount of the discharged refrigerant is allowed to flow backward to prevent a reverse rotation of an orbiting scroll and a decrease in the oil level of the oil stored in a case.
