    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a shim for a die coater is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method of manufacturing a shim for a die coater, where the shim is applied to an electrode slurry die of the die coater and used for discharging an electrode slurry from the die coater, comprising milling a surface of a metal plate to prepare the shim. Using the method herein, it is possible to manufacture a shim for a die coater having a low thickness deviation by processing the shim for a die coater through a milling process.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode assembly. The method for manufacturing the electrode assembly comprises: a step (a) of transferring a plurality of radical units one by one from a first set position to a second position; a step (b) of measuring a distance between a full width end that is an end of the first electrode in a full width direction and a full width end that is an end of the second electrode in a full width direction; a step (c) of measuring a distance (B1) from a reference point (O) of the second set position to the full width end of the first electrode of the first radical unit; a step (d) of stacking the second radical unit on the first radical unit; a step (e) of measuring a distance (B2) from the reference point (O) of the second set position to the full width end of the first electrode of the second radical unit; a step (f) of measuring a distance (C1) between the full length end of the first electrode of the first radical unit and the full width end of the second electrode of the second radical unit by adding the distances (B2, A2) to each other and subtracting the distance (B1) from the sum of the distances (B2, A2); and a step (g) of comparing the distances (C1, A1) to each other to determine whether stacking is defective.

    Abstract: An insulation-coating overlay control system, an electrode plate for a secondary battery, and an insulation-coating overlay control method are provided. I system includes an insulation coater configured to coat an insulating material to allow the insulating material to cover a partial region of a coated part and a non-coated part in an electrode plate along a boundary part. The coated part has an electrode slurry coated thereon and the non-coated part does not have the electrode slurry coated thereon. An insulation-coating width measuring means is configured to measure an overlay width. An insulation coater moving means is configured to move the insulation coater and a controller is configured to control the insulation coater moving means to adjust the overlay width by comparing the measured overlay width with a predetermined overlay width setting range or an overlay width reference value.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electrode assembly comprises: a primary stack manufacturing step in which a first electrode and a second electrode are alternately stacked with a separator on a top surface of a table; a secondary stack manufacturing step in which the first electrode and the second electrode are alternately stacked with the separator on the primary stack so that the second electrode is stacked to be disposed at the lowermost end; a stack rotating step in which the primary stack and the secondary stack are rotated together at an angle of 180° to change positions of the primary stack and the secondary stack; and an electrode assembly manufacturing step in which the first electrode and the second electrode are alternately stacked with the separator on the primary stack so that the second electrode is stacked to be disposed at the lowermost end to manufacture a tertiary stack.
