Abstract: In various embodiments, the present invention is directed to an interior-light-utilizing display obtained by laminating a reflection structure and a light diffusion film, in which the light diffusion film has an internal structure including a plurality of regions having a relatively high refractive index in a region having a relatively low refractive index in the film. The interior-light-utilizing display provides improved luminance and is capable of stably maintaining constant display characteristics even where the incident angle of the external light changes.

Abstract: Provided are a light diffusion film having a single-layered light diffusion layer, in which the uniformity of the intensity of diffused light in the light diffusion angle region can be increased, or the light diffusion angle region can be expanded effectively, by regulating the combination of the angles of inclination of pillar-shaped objects in plural columnar structure regions, and a method for manufacturing a light diffusion film. Disclosed is a light diffusion film having a single-layered light diffusion layer, the light diffusion film having a first columnar structure region and a second columnar structure region, in which plural pillar-shaped objects having a relatively high refractive index are arranged to stand close together in a region having a relatively low refractive index, sequentially from the lower part of the film along the film plane.

Abstract: Provided is a projection screen that can effectively diffuse incident light coming from a wide range of angles in the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction and can provide a wide viewing angle even if the projection screen is applied to a large-sized screen. Disclosed is a projection screen including a light diffusion control plate, in which when a first direction and a second direction orthogonally intersecting each other are assumed to be on the surface of the light diffusion control plate, and when the incident angle of the light incident to the light diffusion control plate is defined such that an angle parallel to the normal line to the surface of the light diffusion control plate is defined as 0°, in a case in which the luminance of diffused light obtainable when light is incident at an incident angle of 0° is designated as L0; the luminance of diffused light obtainable when light is incident at a predetermined incident angle along the first direction is designated as L1; and the luminance of diffused light obtainable when light is incident at a predetermined incident angle along the second direction is designated as L2, there exist a first direction and a second direction, in which L0, L1, and L2 always satisfy the following relational expressions (1) and (2): L1≥0.25×L0 (1) L2≥0.25×L0 (2).

Abstract: A light diffusion control body includes at least two light diffusion control layers each having a regular internal structure. Abstract: A reflective display body includes a light diffusion control layer and a reflective layer. The light diffusion control layer has a plurality of regions having a relatively high refractive index in a region having a relatively low refractive index. The regions having the relatively high refractive index extend from one surface side toward the other surface side of the light diffusion control layer, and a straight line parallel to the extending direction is tilted with respect to the thickness direction of the light diffusion control layer. When a vector C is obtained by projecting a vector, which is parallel to the extending direction and directed from the surface side distal to the display surface of the reflective display body toward the display surface side, onto the display surface, the smallest angle among three angles between vector C and vectors D1 to D3 is more than 0° and 45° or less.
