    摘要: An intelligent notification appliance circuit has a controller and one or more addressable notification appliances coupled with a single pair of wires. The controller outputs integrated power, audio and control signals, and transmits the integrated signals to the one or more addressable notification appliances. Thus, the one or more addressable notification appliances are powered, operated, controlled, and monitored using the intelligent notification appliance circuit. When the intelligent notification appliance circuit is implemented in a fire and/or mass notification system, that system is able to provide integrated audio signals, power signals and control signals over a single pair of wires. The integrated audio signals may carry data indicative of live or recorded music and/or voice messages, such as: mass notification messages, general page, voice evacuation, and the like.

The adaptor includes a housing with a pair of conductive prongs for carrying an electrical current, and a grounding prong for grounding an electrical connection of the pair of conductive prongs. The grounding prong is comprised of a flexible conductive material, and includes a lip on a portion thereof, such that upon insertion of the adaptor into an electrical outlet, the lip snaps into place behind a ridge of the electrical outlet to secure the adaptor thereto and lock it in place. The adaptor may be unlocked by depressing a button disposed on the housing, which bends the grounding prong and displaces the lip. After the adaptor is unlocked, the adaptor may be removed from the electrical outlet.

    摘要: A modular apparatus and method of varying the playability and tonal characteristics of a stringed instrument such as an acoustic or electric guitar which is commonly provided with a body and a fretboard to the instrument's neck. The modular apparatus includes a longitudinal rail, accessible fasteners, intermediary spacer blocks and a plurality of adjustable and removable frets. The rail is configured to connect with the neck of the stringed instrument and to provide a base for the frets. The frets are configured to move as needed within apertures within the rail. The frets are also configured to receive and support the instrument's strings. The frets are selectively adjustable relative to the rail by the user to change the tonal and playability characteristics of the instrument.
