Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention concern a method for transmitting digital messages through a microprocessor monitoring circuit of specific type and integrated to a microprocessor, each message including an identifier and consisting of several groups of successive and juxtaposed bits divided into segments. The method consists in successively transmitting segments associated with a first group corresponding to the identifier and comprising a fixed number of bits; with second groups, at least one of the second group comprising a fixed number of bits depending on the type of monitoring circuit, the number of other second groups being independent of the type of monitoring circuit; with a third group comprising a number of bits greater than one; and with fourth groups comprising each a number of bits greater than one, the number of fourth groups depending on the identifier and on the type of monitoring circuit.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for transmitting digital messages through output terminals (22) of a monitoring circuit (18) integrated to a microprocessor (12), said messages representing specific events occurring upon the execution of instructions by the microprocessor comprising the step which consists, after or before transmitting at least one specific message associated with a particular event in transmitting a correlation message including an identified of said specific message and a counter for the number of instructions executed by the microprocessor between the instruction associated with the transmission of said specific message and the instruction associated with a selected previous message. The invention also concerns a device for transmitting digital messages.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for transmitting digital messages including each at least one data packet, comprising the following steps: a) dividing each data packet into successive segments of predetermined size, each segment being classified in accordance with one or the other among five types depending on whether it contains a start of message (SM), intermediate data (NT), an end of packet (EP), and end of message (EM); or it is an empty segment (ID); b) and sending with each segment an identification signal characterizing the succession of the segment concerned and of the preceding segment; a segment containing both the start and the end of a message being classified as being a segment containing an end of message, and a segment containing both the start of a message and the end of a first packet of the message being classified as a segment containing an end of packet.

Abstract:
The cartridge includes a case with two sections and a connection portion interconnecting the sections and capable of containing in a chamber a rolling bearing including an outer ring which has a bearing surface and a raceway, an inner ring which has a bearing surface and a raceway and rolling members. The case has a support region which is located on the connection portion and is adapted to receive the outer bearing surface. A collar is placed in the chamber and has an end portion coming into contact with the inner bearing surface of the inner ring.

Abstract:
A method for transmitting digital messages used during testing of microprocessors. Each message includes at least one data packet. To transmit a message, each data packet is divided into successive segments of predetermined size, each segment being classified in accordance with one or the other among five types depending on whether it contains a start of message (SM), intermediate data (NT), an end of packet (EP), and end of message (EM); or it is an empty segment (ID). As each segment is sent, an identification signal characterizing the succession of the segment concerned and of the preceding segment is sent. To reduce the number of transmitted segments, a segment containing both the start and the end of a message is classified as being a segment containing an end of message, and a segment containing both the start of a message and the end of a first packet of the message being classified as a segment containing an end of packet.

Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for transmitting digital messages through output terminals (22) of a monitoring circuit (18) incorporated in a microprocessor (12) during execution of a series of instructions, the digital messages representing characteristic data stored by the monitoring circuit upon detecting a specific event in the execution of the series of instructions, one of said data corresponding to an identifier of said specific event, said method comprising the following steps: comparing the data of the last two detected specific events having a common identifier, if the compared data are identical, incrementing a repeat counter associated with said specific event; and if the compared data are different, transmitting a digital message representing the data of the last detected specific event, and furthermore, if the content of the repeat counter associated with said specific event is other than zero, transmitting a digital message indicating a repeat of the specific event.
