    摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for determining whether an active unicast session can be re-used. One apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor that receives, e.g., from an internal application or operating system, a first request to establish a unicast session over a direct communication link to a first UE. Here, the first request indicates a source application-layer identifier of the apparatus and a target application-layer identifier of the first UE. The processor determines whether an active unicast session between the source application-layer identifier and the target application-layer identifier already exists. If an active unicast session between the source application-layer identifier and the target application-layer identifier already exists, then the processor re-uses the already-existing active unicast session. Otherwise, the processor establishes a new unicast session between the apparatus and the first UE.

One method includes receiving control information at a device on a first radio access technology, wherein: the control information comprises radio access technology information, sidelink resource allocation information, and timing offset information; the radio access technology information indicates that the sidelink resource allocation information is for a second radio access technology; and the first radio access technology is different from the second radio access technology; and wherein the timing offset information is used in the device to determine a time to apply the sidelink resource allocation for the second radio access technology.

    摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for configuring logical channel (“LCH”) mapping restriction for small-data transmission. One apparatus includes a transceiver that receives a configuration with LCH mapping restrictions for an LCH. The apparatus includes a processor applies a first set of LCH mapping restrictions for uplink transmissions when the first apparatus is in a Radio Resource Control (“RRC”) connected state and applies a second set of LCH mapping restrictions for uplink transmissions when the first apparatus is in a RRC inactive state, where the LCH mapping restrictions of the first set are different than the LCH mapping restrictions of the second set.
