摘要： In a photographic film or paper web handling system, a vacuum drum carried by a moveable carriage automatically picks up the end of a web roll and feeds it to a web path. The location of the roll surface is sensed and the carriage is positioned in close proximity to the roll surface. The pickup of the web end by the vacuum drum is sensed and the carriage is moved from the web roll to a position adjacent the web path. An air chute is provided for transporting the web along the film path to a web perforator. A drive for the web roll is placed in a constant torque mode for maintaining web tension during initial threading and a loop position servo controlled mode for maintaining a loop height in a slack box after threading.

摘要： A filter and filter cleaning system wherein the filter is reusable after ultrasonic cleaning in a tank. The filter is disassembled, separating the filter element from the case. The filter element comprises a micromesh metallic filter core that traps contaminants within it during normal use. The micromesh core element is cleaned in a liquid bath while being exposed to ultrasonic vibrations that shake the contaminants from the mesh filter structure. The contaminants are washed from the mesh by the fluid bath as they are separated from the mesh structure. Once cleaned, the filter is reassembled and can be reused unlike typical paper care filters that must be discarded.

摘要： A method for vaporizing organic material and condensing it onto a surface to form a layer, comprising: providing a quantity of first organic material in a powdered form in a first container and a quantity of second organic material in a second container spaced from the first container; fluidizing the first organic material in the first container, transferring the fluidized first organic material from the first container into a manifold, and vaporizing the first organic material in the manifold; fluidizing the second organic material in the second container, transferring the fluidized second organic material from the second container into the manifold, and vaporizing the second organic material in the manifold where the first and second vaporized organic materials are mixed; and delivering from the manifold the mixed vaporized materials to the substrate surface to form the layer.
