摘要: A cleaning device for cleaning a filter arrangement which has a first fluid connection, a second fluid connection, and a filter assembly between the first and second fluid connections and which has a surface to which contaminants can adhere. A generator device for generating a gas-fluid mixture includes a receiving chamber for receiving a fluid, and a pressurized gas generating device. A first pipe assembly is connected to the generator device so that the gas-fluid mixture can be provided under pressure into the filter arrangement. A second pipe assembly is connectable to the second fluid connection and a collection device. The collection device collects the gas-fluid mixture and contaminants entrained from the filter arrangement. The first pipe assembly has a deflection pipe section which allows the receiving chamber to be filled with fluid without fluid entering the filter arrangement before the gas-fluid mixture is generated.

摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system air filter for a building ventilation system. The HVAC system air filter comprises a supportive frame configured to orient the HVAC system air filter within the building ventilation system. A composite filter medium retained within the supportive frame comprises a cotton gauze portion and an electrostatic portion. The cotton gauze portion is configured for treatment with a filter oil composition to enhance airflow and filtration of air flowing through the composite filter medium. The electrostatic portion is configured to electrostatically attract and agglomerate airborne molecular contaminants and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as small as 0.001 microns in diameter. In some embodiments, the composite filter medium comprises substances configured to release a fragrance into air passing through the composite filter medium.

摘要: An inline-type strainer including a drain line and a screen configured to be attachable to and detachable from a housing is provided. A screen is supported to be attachable to and detachable from a lid. A lid coupling mechanism that couples a housing and the lid when the lid is attached to the housing is provided between a bottom surface of the housing facing the filter chamber and a lower end of the lid. A lower discharge flow path is formed in a lower coupling element on a side close to the housing constituting the lid coupling mechanism, and an upper discharge flow path is formed in the upper coupling element on a side close to the lid constituting the lid coupling mechanism. When the lid is attached to the housing, a coupling state is established between the upper and lower coupling elements, and the upper and lower discharge flow paths communicate with each other, and thus a drain line is constructed.

摘要: A debris clearing system for clearing debris from a drain strainer includes a base member having at least one attachment coupler configured to removably attach the base member to the drain strainer, a support frame rotatably coupled to the base member, at least one arm assembly coupled to the support frame, a clearing member coupled to a distal end of the at least one arm assembly. The clearing member being adjacent the exterior surface of the drain strainer when the base member is coupled to the drain strainer. The system includes a drive unit coupled to the support frame to rotate the support frame and the at least one arm assembly relative to the base member. The clearing member clears debris from the exterior surface of the drain strainer when the drive unit rotates the support frame and the at least one arm assembly.

摘要: An internal combustion engine exhaust modification system for transforming exhaust emissions from an internal combustion engine into modified exhaust emissions. The exhaust modification system includes a housing extending between inlet and outlet ends thereof. The system also includes an impeller rotatably mounted in the housing, and a filter subassembly downstream from the impeller. The filter subassembly removes part of particulate matter and liquid droplets in the exhaust emissions to transform the exhaust emissions into modified exhaust emissions. The system includes a conduit extending between an inner end thereof positioned to direct cooler air exiting therefrom into the housing toward the filter subassembly, and an outer end thereof. The system also includes a funnel subassembly having a funnel body for directing the cooler air into the outer end of the conduit.

摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) home air filter to remove airborne molecular contaminants and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from air within residential spaces. The HVAC home air filter includes a supportive frame having a shape and size suitable to orient the HVAC home air filter within a residential HVAC system. A filter medium is retained within the supportive frame to remove the airborne molecular contaminants and VOCs from air flowing through the residential HVAC system. The filter medium includes a combination of media layers configured to exhibit a relatively high filtration efficiency and a low air pressure drop across the filter medium. The supportive frame includes a plurality of elongate sections and corner sections disposed along perimeter edges of the filter medium to support the filter medium within the residential HVAC system so as direct air through the filter medium.

摘要: Filter systems, filters, and methods of managing filter systems are provided. The filter systems utilize large filters that are too large to be manually handled by service personnel. As such, the filter systems and methods utilize filter positioning units for handling the filters during maintenance intervals. Some systems include sensor for remotely monitoring the status of the filters and the information can be used to reverse pulse the filters as well as to indicate the end of the service life of the filters. The filters can be refurbished with new filter media.
