Abstract:
A cutting device may include a main body supported on the upper side of a base. The main body includes a rotary blade and a fixed cover partially covering the rotary blade. A handle is attached to the fixed cover and extends rearward therefrom.
Abstract:
A hand-held cutting tool may include a handle and a battery pack. The handle has a rear portion with respect to a work proceeding direction along which the cutting tool is moved for performing a cutting operation. When the battery pack is mounted to the rear portion of the handle, the longitudinal direction of the battery pack extends non-parallel with the work proceeding direction.
Abstract:
An electric tool may include a tool main body configured to be able to mount a battery pack. The tool main body may include an electric motor, a controller for controlling the electric motor, and a centrifugal fan rotatably driven by the electric motor for producing a flow of air. The controller may be positioned such that the flow of air produced by the centrifugal fan is applied to at least a part of the controller.
Abstract:
A lever device is configured such that, when first and second plates are relatively moved in a direction in which a second end part of the first plate and a fourth end part of the second plate are close to each other from a state in which the second end part and the fourth end part are separated from each other in an axial direction of a bolt, the first plate is rotated around a fulcrum positioned between a first engagement part and the second end part in the crossing direction so that the first plate is moved from an engaged position where the first engagement part and a non-circular part of the bolt or a nut are engaged to a non-engaged position where they are not engaged, and thereby removing a restriction of the relative rotation of the first plate to the non-circular part.
Abstract:
A dust collection nozzle extends from the front of a fixing cover parallel to a base below an upper end of an electric motor. Heavy and large cutting dust can be immediately collected from an area relatively close to a cutting position of a portable cutting device cutting a workpiece immediately after dust is generated due to the cutting, which can in turn improve dust collection efficiency of a dust collection device to which the dust collection nozzle is attached.
Abstract:
A portable machining apparatus has high operability in tilting a body with respect to a base or in machining a workpiece with the tilting body. A portable machining apparatus placeable on a long gauge placed on an upper surface of a workpiece includes a base placeable on the long gauge, a body including a blade for machining the workpiece, an angular plate fixed to the base to support the body in a tiltable manner and including a protrusion, a body support located between the body and the base and including a guide engageable with the protrusion to allow sliding of the protrusion on the guide, and a spring that urges the protrusion toward the guide.
