Abstract: A bonnet inner panel includes a central protrusion portion protruding upward in a vehicle elevational view and a rear protrusion portion located in back of the central protrusion portion, which are arranged side by side in a vehicle longitudinal direction, a deep-drawn groove is provided between the both protrusion portions to extend in a vehicle width direction, and a hinge reinforcement is provided to extend from a position beside the rear protrusion portion to a position at a rear end of the central protrusion portion, passing through beside the deep-drawn groove. Thereby, the hinge support rigidity of the rear portion of the bonnet having the central protrusion portion can be increased, so that occurrence of any improper deflection or vibration caused to the bonnet by the traveling vibration, the traveling-air pressure or the like can be prevented.

Abstract: A hood structure for a vehicle ensures rigidity of a front portion of an outer panel and a high level of pedestrian protection. The hood structure includes an outer panel defining external appearance; an inner panel on a prime mover chamber side of the outer panel; and a stiffener in a front portion of the inner panel. The inner panel has an upper surface section on a center side of the outer panel; a coupling surface section extending downward from a ridgeline located at a peripheral edge of the upper surface section; and a lower surface section extending from a peripheral edge end of the coupling surface section to an edge side of the outer panel. The stiffener has a reinforcing surface section joined to the outer panel; and a rear-side fixed section extending rearward from the reinforcing surface section and fixed to the vicinity of the ridgeline.

Abstract: A vehicle front structure prevents unintentional package movement during travel while allowing access to a trunk from a vehicle cabin side. Embodiments include a vehicle having a front trunk, a glove box, and a communication portion. The front trunk has a housing space at a front of the vehicle to house a package. The glove box is at a front part of a vehicle cabin and has a housing space into and out of which a package can be taken, and a lid to open and close an opening. The communication portion has a communication space providing communication between the housing space of the front trunk and the housing space of the glove box. A raised wall that restricts package movement in the communication space is provided at an opening section of the communication space, such as a front opening at a front end part of the communication space.
