Abstract:
An exemplary light source module includes a plurality of light emitting units and a light pervious paste. Each light emitting unit includes a light guide plate and a light source optically coupled to the light guide plate. The light guide plate includes a bottom surface, a light emitting surface opposite to the bottom surface, and a plurality of side surfaces interconnected between the bottom surface and the light emitting surface. The light pervious paste is interconnected between two adjacent side surfaces of two neighboring light guide plates.
Abstract:
An exemplary billboard includes a backlight module, a light transmissive canvas, a pattern layer and a light converging layer. The light transmissive canvas is adjacent to the backlight module. The light transmissive canvas includes a first surface facing the backlight module and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The pattern layer is formed on the second surface. The light converging layer covers the pattern layer and comprises a plurality of microstructures formed thereon distal from the light transmissive canvas.
Abstract:
A backlight module (100) includes a light source (120) for emitting light therefrom, and a light guide plate (110). The light guide plate includes a light exit surface (111), a bottom surface (112) opposite to the light exit surface, a receiving hole (113) defined in the bottom surface with the light source received therein, a first reflecting surface (115) in the receiving hole facing away from the light exit surface and configured for reflecting the light emitted from the light source, a light incidence surface (116) in the receiving hole, a recess (114) defined in the bottom surface, and a second reflecting surface (117) arranged in the recess. The second reflecting surface faces toward the light exit surface and the first reflecting surface. The second reflecting surface is configured for directing the reflected light from the first reflecting surface to the light exit surface.
Abstract:
A backlight module (300) includes a plurality of illumination devices (100). Each of the illumination devices includes a light guide block (120) and a point light source (140) optically coupled with the light guide block. The light guide block includes a light exit surface (121), a bottom surface (123) opposite to the light exit surface, and a tapered portion (122) located between the light exit surface and the bottom surface. The bottom surface has a receiving hole (1232) formed therein. The tapered portion includes an outside surface (1221) and a prism array (1224) formed on the outside surface. The point light source is secured in the receiving hole. The plurality of illumination devices are joined with one another and the light exit surfaces of light guide blocks are substantially coplanar and whereby cooperatively constitute a light output surface of the backlight module.
Abstract:
A light emitting diode illuminator includes a reflecting shell (120), a light emitting diode light source (140) and a transparent cover (160). The reflecting shell includes a plurality of sequentially connected hollow tapered bodies (122, 124) having different taper angles. The tapered bodies cooperatively form a receiving space (123). The light source is installed at an end of the receiving space. The transparent cover is disposed at an opposite end of the reflecting shell away from to the light source and configured for directing light emitted from the light source out from the light emitting diode illuminator.
