An identification tag information reminder system and a method thereof are provided. The system comprises an identification tag, for storing a tag identification code, an identification condition data and a reminder message corresponding to the identification condition data; and a portable device, comprising a memory, for storing a plurality of predetermined reminder conditions; an identification tag access module, for accessing the tag identification code, the identification condition data and the reminder message corresponding to the identification condition data of the identification tag; a processing module, for comparing the predetermined reminder condition with the tag identification code and the identification condition data to generate a comparison result; and an indicating module, for outputting the reminder message according to the comparison result.

A navigation method, which is applied to a satellite navigation apparatus, includes: determining whether the satellite navigation apparatus is in a free-run mode; and, when the satellite navigation apparatus is under the free-run mode, recording a route, which the satellite navigation apparatus passes through, in a database for the use of route planning of the satellite navigation apparatus in a navigation mode.

A network device (20) for connecting an Ethernet terminal device (10) to a communication network (30) includes a database (23), a first transceiving module (21), a second transceiving module (26), and a destination address determining module (25). The database is used for saving a reference address. The first transceiving module is connected to the Ethernet terminal device. The second transceiving module is connected to the communication network, and is used for receiving a packet sent by the communication network and forwarding the packet. The destination address determining module is used for determining whether a destination address of the packet matches with the reference address saved in the database. If the destination address of the packet matches with the reference address saved in the database, the first transceiving module sends the packet to the Ethernet terminal device.

A network communication device includes a protection value optimizing module, a rate calculating module, a rate determining module, and a connection module. The protection value optimizing module is configured for optimizing an impulse noise protection (INP) value. The rate calculating module is configured for calculating a first downlink rate based on an initial INP value and calculating a second downlink rate based on an optimized INP value. The rate determining module is configured for determining if the first downlink rate and the second downlink rate are greater than a maximum downlink rate provided by the central office device. The connection module is configured for establishing a communication connection between a terminal device and a central office device according to the second downlink rate and the optimized INP value upon the condition that the second downlink rate is not greater than the maximum downlink rate.

A network device includes a storage module, a receiving module, a flag determining module, a type determining module, an updating determining module, and a forwarding module. The storage module saves a value of a firmware-updating flag and a preset forwarding packet corresponding to a particular web page. The receiving module receives a packet from a terminal device to send to the flag determining module. The flag determining module determines whether the firmware of the network device needs updating after receiving the packet. The type determining module determines whether the packet is a TCP packet. The updating determining module determines whether a destination address of the packet matches a destination address of the preset forwarding packet. The forwarding module receives the preset forwarding packet from the updating determining module, and sends the preset forwarding packet to the terminal device to notify the terminal device to download the newest firmware.
